Although I was running the pack affairs from the human town, I still had to keep up with appearances. So I still cleaned peoples homes but had reduced my clients to three. Ever since the incident in the woods, Helena had begun to speak to me. I was mad at her but I was glad to have my wolf back.
While cleaning a client's house, Helena began to complain.
"We can't go on like this. We are not humans and should not be doing mundane things," she complained.
"So what would you have me do? Shift and run wild in the bush so you can mate against my will?" I stabbed at her.
" Oh get over it. I know you liked it. Just admit it. You are still in love with Alex. Just forgive him so we can live our lives in peace." she shut back but I refused to respond.
