I opened my eyes slowly and blinked several times only to be greeted by a bright light.I rubbed my eyes to get the fish out. I got out of my bed and freshened up in the toilet. I brushed my teeth, oiled and combed my hair and cut my nails. I looked into the mirror to see my majestically handsome face.
I had nappy hair due to my lineage from my mother's side. I was a light skin black man in a white man's house. That was an inside joke between me and my siblings. I popped a small pimple that was on my cheek and it barely contained any pus. I scrubbed my face with aloe vera face wash and when I was done with it I could see my glowing face.
I walked back to my room and grabbed my phone from my bag. I connected it to my wireless headphones and walked downstairs in nothing but a bathrobe and lightning McQueen crocs.
I walked slowly as I was in no rush to get anywhere. I enjoyed my music as I sat down. Breakfast had already been cooked and it was served to me by Mia. I ate my English breakfast as slowly as possible savouring each bite as I had to show appreciation for the food.
I left the table and went back to my room and played video games for a while. I looked at my clock and saw that it was 12 o clock. I got ready to leave.
I put on a black shirt and a white leather jacket. I wore blue Jean's, red socks and a pair of vans. I walked inside my cupboard and upon a shelf were several motorcycle helmets. I decided to go with a light blue one that was decorated with stickers of female characters from video games that I played.
I then walked up to the small desk next to my bed and pulled the drawer open.
Which motorbike should I take?
Now this was rich people problem!
Since I was gonna go shopping later then I should go with the volladoid 8900. I could store everything underneath the seat and still ride fast.
I picked out the keys to the motorbike that I needed and left the rest in there.
I then walked out of my room but I quickly turned back as I had remembered that I had forgotten my wallet. I quickly went to get it. The most important thing inside it was my fake driver's license. It said that I was 19 instead of sixteen so in case I was caught speeding then at least they wouldn't hold me accountable for driving without a licence.
I grabbed my charger before I left and I went down to the garage.
I walked over to the motorbike that I was going to use. It was a normal orange racing bike. The only difference between a normal racing bike and this one was the fact that you could store shopping underneath the seat and it had a charging port.
I ignited the engine and revved it up. I rode it slowly until I was in front of the family petrol pump. It was only to be expected since father was an oil tycoon. The servant that was in charge of the filled up my tank. While I changed from song to song looking for a song that I liked. My phone was on the charging port. It was locked to the bike through magnetism so that it would not fall when riding at high speeds.
The servant filled up my tank and I left him. The gates were opened for me. I placed my helmet on my helmet and held onto the accelerator. The bike streaked down the empty road for 5km since it was private property. It took less than a minute until I was of the private property until finally I reached the highway.
I slowed down and followed the speed limit of 60km/h and with time I finally reached my mechanic. I got of my bike and sat around for 30 minutes reading magazines as he did a routine checkup and maintenance.
"Everything's good and works perfectly." he said. I paid him and left the mechanic. I decided to visit my elder brother to see how his nightclub was coming along. It was around one o clock when I got to his club. I parked my motorcycle right outside the club.
I turned of the engine and pocketed the key. I put my helmet under my arm as I entered the nightclub. "Looking sharp Ceaser?" Elliot said. Elliot was the head security of the club. He was a short man with a trimmed beard and a nice hairstyle unlike my brother.
"Thanks," I replied as I walked into the nightclub.
The nightclub had already been finished being set up. It had two floors and giant bar counter, a fireplace and around the fireplace were several couches.
The VIP lounge was a small room with several table and sofas. It had blue lights and a small disco ball. It had a mini fridge and several bottles of chardonnay on shelves.
It was a small nice room with AC. I walked up the stairs to the second floor and went to my brother's office.
I knocked on the door before entering and after hearing his voice I went in. He was sitting behind his desk on a gaming chair for some reason. Maybe he wanted the good feel of it.
He seemed to be reviewing some papers before the club was officially opened.
"What can I do for you Ceaser? I'm a busy man." he snarled. Alexander was dressed in a full suit as if it was his wedding. He had really good combed hair and the perfume on him smelt really nice. For some unknown reason he was wearing sunglasses indoors. Alexander was the eldest child in our family. He was 22 years old with a great mind for business.
He always wanted to get out of father's shadow and accomplish something on his own. For as long as I have known him he was always trying to prove a point. Not that he always managed to prove it.
I remember when I was younger I would see him spend most of his time studying. He had attended Lock hills university of business which was one of the most prestigious business universities.
Unlike the rest of us Alexander had ambition and drive. He wanted to be something more. He didn't want to be a nobody. He wanted to be somebody, he wanted his name to be known all around not just the country but through out the globe.
Alexander was the definition of a person shooting beyond the stars into the infinite void of space just so that he would be remembered in history. He wanted to create his own legacy that was built on his actions and not his words.
I sat down on the wooden chair in front of his desk which was kind of weird. He was sitting comfortably in a gaming chair and I'm pretty sure some of his guests would find it annoying that they had to sit on a hard wooden chair while he was sitting comfortably in the coziest looking chair.
"You look different compared to when you were in university, you remember how you barely had a shower and on most mornings forgot to brush your teeth." I said nonchalantly.
"Yes I do remember those days. But thankfully not taking a shower paid of when I got my Masters and MBA." He said as he smiled. He twirled the pen in his hand around his finger.
"But... you still haven't told me what you want Ceaser?"
I smiled at my brother before dramatically sighing. "Why chase me out? I came to visit my dear brother and you chase me out, that is disappointing, although we may not have the same mother we still have the same blood in our veins."
"Ceaser, I am not giving you any money, I'm already in a tight spot financially, my club opens tommorow night, I have to finish all this paperwork by tommorow morning so please leave me alone."
I was absolutely flabbergasted by this. He actually thought that I came here to ask him for money. This was insulting but what could you expect from family? He refused to take father's money and had taken a loan of 2 million from the bank just to start up his business. Why would I ask him for money after knowing all that?
"I'm not here for money Alexander!" I said, "I actually came here to see how you were doing since I care about you."
"I'm not giving you any free drinks even if you compliment me, I am not serving alchol to a minor, I do not need my club shut down with before it even opens.."
"....."
"Alexander, I am here to genuinely congratulate you, I know you will not hear this from father or Diana or anyone else in the house but as your younger brother I am proud of you."
Alexander looked up from the papers that he was reviewing.
"Well, thanks I gue-." He said.
"Shut up, I'm not finished." I interrupted. "You put in years and spent a lot of time and energy to be the man you are and that is something that I can never do. You are a true man over and over and I am proud of you for that. Your hardwork has paid of finally and this is probably the start of your legacy, in case you ever need something then I am hear for you."
Alexander was actually silent and his mouth was wide open since I knew he was not expecting this from me.
"Do you actually think that?" he asked.
"Hell yeah, you should change your name from Alexander Quill to Alexander the great because you deserve that name." I replied.
"I... I... I don't know what to say... thank you. I needed to hear that, thank you."
I stood up and picked up my helmet of the ground, "You do you brother, I got your back. Always."
I left the club and headed towards Diana's office.
