Jemmy came out of the bathroom to find one girl on the bed. Stopping in his tracks, he looked closer. The girl wasn't Naysa even though she was wrapped tight in the blanket. He simply tied his gown around himself and went to pull of the blanket.
There in bed lay Cindy Scott, looking as innocent as ever. Jemmy half closed his eyes as rage rose in him.
"Where is she? Where is my wife?" he roared.
"What shows that she is your wife? You aren't married yet are you? Not even your dad is ok with this relationship. Why don't we just get things done Jemmy?" Cindy stood sexily before him.
"Where is my wife? And why are you here?"
Patience wasn't one of his virtues. When the answer didn't come as early as expected, Jemmy stormed out of the room and into the elevator. The receptionist almost jumped out of her skin when she saw the angry man. Before the question could come, Samara ran to Jemmy panting.
"Jemmy! Jemmy! Jemmy Pearl is upstairs' barking madly. Where is Naysa? Is she ok? Why did she leave her pet behind?" Samara asked.
"Where is the dog?"
Jimmy and Samara entered the elevator and moments later they stood where Pearl was. He was barking and scratching at the door of the washroom madly that Jemmy had a bad feeling. Samara tried picking it up but it pulled itself back.
Quickly, Jemmy kicked the door open. Naysa was leaning at the wall and someone else was pressing hard on her. Drops of blood were dripping on the floor. Samara screamed, catching the attention of Phil Caster who let go off Naysa and tried running into the toilet. Jemmy picked her up and like weightless sack, the frightened Phil Caster was picked up and thrown out from the VIP rooms at the very top of the building. Her screamed filled the air as she descended. One thing Jemmy couldn't tolerate is Naysa being harassed.
Samara had her hands covering her ears all the while and when Jemmy moved, she rushed forward to Naysa.
"Sister! What's wrong? Are you hurt?" she asked.
Jemmy stretched out his arms and pulled her into a hug.
"Did she hurt you? Where?"
"No… nothing much. She hit me and that's why am nose bleeding." Naysa shook her head. Pearl was at her feet softly rubbing its body on her.
Carrying her bridal style, Jemmy dialed and Stenson's number and walked out. Samara wanted to follow but thought it otherwise and called Marina instead. After Marina heard the story, she was sure Naysa was in safe hands and told Samara not to worry.
Outside…
Everyone gathered around one particular person who was badly injured and almost all bones of her body were broken. Blood had sprayed all over the place.
"Someone call the ambulance. Did she try to commit suicide?"
"By the time she arrives in hospital, she would be dead by now."
"What really happened?"
Suddenly, a lady came by screaming… it was none other than Cindy Scotts.
"If anything happens to Phil, I swear to God I'll take revenge! A nobody, someone who snatched another husband away! Naysa, you played with the wrong card!"
When she reached at the center of the crowd, she suddenly stopped shouting and looked at the body lying in a pool of blood with bones protruding out.
"Ooh my God! Phil!" Cindy's legs gave way and she knelt before Phil.
"Don't die. What will I tell the people at LA? I lured you here, please, everyone will blame me!" Cindy begged amidst tears and a trembling body.
'Do you know her? Did she try to kill herself?" everyone was asking Cindy who was too frightened to hear them.
AT JHL HOTEL
Hank was drinking at the top most room of the hotel which overlooked the city. The cold breeze blew towards him and his curly hair hung in his face. His face was calm and peaceful and even in the night, no one wouldn't recognized what a handsome god he was.
When Hank left the Emerald castle, he went to God knows where and returned in toe with Tanner, a citizen of LA who was now his personal guard. It's not like the guards at Emerald Castle were not good, Hank knew he would finally have no choice but to go back to LA and take over the Starton Company. That already known known to him, he wanted a citizen of LA to hang around him more often.
Tanner had heard about his boss and he already knew what kind of a weird boss he had. He understood that at a time Hank would disappear and he would be on his own. It had happened earlier this day and he stayed brooding at the hotel.
Also, Hank had briefed him of who to receive his call, which call cold be more important and which one could not.
When the phone rung, Tanner looked at Hank who sat comfortably with his legs curled on the glass table.
"Who is that?" Hank turned and asked.
"Stenson." Tanner replied.
"Give it to me."
Tanner carefully handed the phone to Hank.
"Hello… he got into trouble? … that's an easy thing ok? Someone tried to harm my sister in law?"
Hank cut off the receiver and threw the phone back to Tanner.
"Boss…"
"Someone tried to harm my sister in law. Am trying to handle that old man who doesn't want our views." Hank said standing up. "When is the meeting?"
"Two days from now."
Hank entered the elevator and disappeared. Tanner also entered the elevator. When he got down, the car had already disappeared.
"How weird is my boss?" He sighed. Taking out the map Hank had handed him, he entered the car and started the engine.
"Let's meet at Emerald castle anyway…"
WEYNER'S HOME…
Livia smashed the phone after cutting off the receiver. Roderick, who sat uneasily close to her stood up and stared at her.
"Don't tell me everything screwed up." He said.
"What do you expect? If all went well, I wouldn't be throwing up my phone." Livia retorted. "Wait, where is Diana?"
"In short, the apartment was sold and not even half the price was raised. I don't know where my sister is. If you can't help me…" Roderick said but was stopped by Charles.
"Help you in what way Ricky? The family status right now isn't that stable. This is the family property and we can't help you when the family is this broke." Charles. "It's not like we don't want to."
