Jemmy was impatient all the way to the castle. Hank sat calmly at the back of the car after he was done with first aid under Jemmy's black angry eyes.
Marina was in the castle pacing. She was amidst tears. Since when Naysa's mother died, she was unpredictable.
"If anything happens to my sister!" She was swearing at Jemmy while biting her cute lips.
"Check her thoroughly!" Jemmy ordered Dr. Albert who started his check up immediately. "Check her mental orientation!"
"Huh!" both Marina and Dr. Albert turned to look at him.
"Do your work first. Why are you looking at me?" Jemmy wasn't in for jokes. Dr. Albert sighed.
"Why do you want her to be checked?" Marina couldn't help but ask.
"I want to know if she is mentally ok."
"That's an insult right? My sister is ok. Don't even try doing anything of that sort. I'll swear with your name." Marina shouted.
"Since when her mother died, do you notice any changed in her?" Instead of answering her, Jemmy asked.
"What do you mean? You love her the way she is right?" Marina asked.
"I love her of course, but you haven't answered my question. I want to know what's happening to her. If she goes on taking rush decisions, she is endangering her life." Jemmy said.
"Probably trauma." Marina replied, then walked out.
Jemmy sighed as he turned back to Dr. Albert who stiffened.
"The cut isn't deep." Dr. Albert said.
"What do you mean not a deep cut? She lost a lot of blood..."
Meanwhile...
Who knew Hank would arrive at the Dean's home before Dallas arrived?
While senior Dean was busy in the living room reading a newspaper, someone cleared his throat. Senior Dean jumped to his feat, dropping the newspaper and looking back at the man who sat like he was really supposed to be there.
Hank sat cross legged calmly behind senior Dean who now stood alert and trembled.
"How did you get in?" He asked while shaking terribly.
"You should be asking me why am here." Hank said.
Senior Dean swallowed hard. This was his second encounter with Hank and he now thought Hank had special powers that enabled his to teleport there, because he would never see how he entered and how he got himself seated comfortably or standing calmly behind him.
Before senior Dean could talk, Caleb, Dallas' brother came in and started talking. He didn't at first notice the man on the seat at the far end of the seat.
"Dad... Dallas'will kill us one day. Right now our hotel went down. Many people are injured. The reliable sourcea of information say Dallas drugged the girl they had kidnapped earlier with James who is related to the Grants in a way no one knows. The Grants cane for her." When Caleb sensed that his father didn't react as violently as he was supposed to, he now became attentive. "Dad what's wrong?"
But senior Dean's eyes were fixed at one place, the far seat. Looking closer, Caleb wanted to cry.
"Sir... You are here?" Caleb knelt. "Forgive my brother."
"Where is he?" Senior Dean finally spoke.
"He's at the hotel with a broken nose, a distorted face with few broken body parts. Anna was caught up in the damage too." Caleb said. A man on a stretcher was pushed in. He looked more of a dead person than someone who is alive.
"Your son hurt my sister in law." Hank finally stood up and said. "If we would have delayed, she would be dead by now and that only means, the Dean family would seize to exist."
"Sinful son, you better wake up and finish what you started!" Senior Dean shouted at the unconscious bleeding Dallas.
Emerald Castle...
Jemmy slept in the room where Naysa was asleep. Though she moved uneasily in her sleep, some hour she slept peacefully. The following morning, Jemmy didn't report to work as usual. He sat in the room without even taking breakfast and waited. Uncle Tarran had called Marina severally to confirm Naysa's situation.
Marina reported to work at Polar hotel at midday and was told someone was waiting for her since morning.
"Someone?" Marina asked as she walked into the elevator.
"Yeah... One Seth Gray refused to leave. He said he must talk to you." Erin replied. "Also, Samara was here, but when she didn't find you, she went back. She said she didn't have free time till weekend."
"I'll call her." Marina replied.
" I heard what happened to your sister. Am sorry about that ok?" Erin said. Marina forced a smile.
"Erin, all is well. Don't worry about my sister." Marina said as they got out of the elevator but soon fingers started pointing at her.
"Did you hear it? She slept with an unknown man for money."
"What a waste! Such a beautiful girl? Is she not the assistant manager? What a shame?"
"How can you people say an assistant manager slept with a man for money? Probably she's naturally a whore!"
Marina felt like crying. What was being said now was far different from the fact.
"Don't mind them ok? No one knows what happened except you. I mean, you don't need to stand up and address the whole nation on what happened." Erin said. Marina sighed and walked into her office where Seth had been welcomed and had been waiting for almost three hours.
"Why are you here?" Marina dropped her bag and turned to Seth without greetings.
"Why don't you at least greet me? We weren't enemies my dear." Seth said.
"Let me make this clear Seth..." She started but a notification beeped on her phone. She sat down and stared at her phone for a while before opening it. It was a message from her sister Janet who had been married to Seth yesterday.
Looking at the picture of the invitation card that Janet had send to her, Marina sighed as she thought... What does she think? Why did she send this to me?
"Congratulations Seth." Marina finally smiled at him. "Is that why you are here? To tell me the news?"
"What are you talking about? Am here to say sorry for what happened. Marina you know I always had a crush on you, why would you do this to me?" Seth said.
"You are really shameless, who do you think I am?" Marina started but there was a lot of noise coming from downstairs and voices were getting to them.
"Sorry you can't go up there."
"What do you mean I can't go up there? My husband is up there? Who doesn't know you people snatch people's husband here?" A female voice came.
