COUNTRY LA.
Hank walked into the house angrily plucking the flowers as he walked. His aura was strong and suffocating. The maids shuddered as they followed at a distance, picking the dead leaves. Mr. Augustine Grants looked at his son whose face was frowned and sighed.
"Better calm down. You're suffocating everyone here." He said. Hank snorted as he stopped before him. For the first time, Hank had stayed in country LA for two day. He really didn't want to stay, but he couldn't leave with that lady because this whole thing was a plan by his father, and if he dared arrive in K nation with a woman, whom their father wanted Jemmy to marry, Jemmy wiill fly to rage.
"If you had a dealing with Jemmy, call him and settle it, don't use me as a scapegoat!" Hank was angry and snorted right in his father's face. Mr. Augustine maintened his face, after all he knew his own sons very well.
"This should be a happy meeting between father and son. You should be happy your brother will soon get married. Besides, we all know that Cindy's father died protecting your grandfather." Mr. Augustine said.
"Happy meeting indeed." Hank sneered. "Both grandfather and Mr. Scotts died in that bomb blast. Who died protecting the other when they all lost their lives? That theory doesn't make sense."
Mira, Mr. Augustine's wife whom he married when Jemmy's mother died came in. She was a bit aged but maintained her beauty. She always complained how Augustine always gave his son's much freedom even though they were grown ups. The three brothers never loved their step mother who was always never stopped setting them up with their father and building hatred in the family.
"If I tell you am going back tomorrow you'll shut down the airport. If I order the Grant's helicopter you'll command then to not come. Now listen, it's either I go back tomorrow or I'll bring down the whole airport." Hank finalized and started walking out.
"Will you for once listen to your father?" Mira looked at Hank and curved her mouth sideways. Hank stopped in his tracks and looked at her with clear but fierce eyes. Mira shuddered.
"You aren't invited to talk." Hank said and walked out, intentionally punching the front pillar as a sign of warning. If he doesn't leave the next day, the whole household won't like it. The strong pillar shook, shaking the whole house.
"Get someone to reconstruct the pillar." Mr. Augustine just looked at his son as he gave the order to his guard Kevin.
The next weekend so Naysa slept peacefully in her new bed with Pearl curled besides her. Suddenly her phone rung, she almost cursed, but looking at the caller, she jumped out of bed and recieved the call while looking outside through the window. Luckily there was no car.
"Hello... Good morning." She recieved it after sighing heavily.
"Prepare yourself, we need to go somewhere." Jemmy went straight to the point and cut off the reciever.
"Hello? Where?" Naysa asked but unfortunately the phone had been cut off. Her transparent night dress shown in the dark. Her hair was curled and her whole face pale. She looked at Pearl who was too lazy to wake up and just looked at her while still lying in bed. Naysa quickly picked it up.
"We need to shower." She said, walking to the bathroom. After bathing Pearl, she took a warm shower and moved to change. By then, Stenson was already outside waiting. She dressed and walked out, followed suit by Pearl.
"I need to get you a new collar, I don't like this black collar on you." She said while standing in the elevator.
"Good morning ma'am." Stenson greeted immediately she stepped out of the elevator.
"Good morning Stenson. Where are you taking me to?" She asked.
"To meet boss. He gave the order that I should pick you up." Stenson said, opening the door for her. Naysa got in and carried Pearl on her lap. The car drove out of the compound and toward Sunrise Mall.
Naysa got off and saw Jemmy leaning backwards on the car. He was wearing an Italian black full canvas suit and a golden men's watch.
Naysa was dressed in a short black flare skirt which showed half of her delicate thighs, a red V-shaped top, the upper part of her chest shone in the bright sun. A black faux leather jacket and Frye boots. A red hair ribbon was attached to her hair which fell freely on her back.
Jemmy couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked gracefully towards her. Though in simple dressing, she was stunning.
"Sorry if I kept you waiting." She said, smiling sweetly.
