The early morning sun rays penetrated the shiny curtains and filled the room. On the king size bed, Naysa lay freely with the fluffy duvet tightly wrapped around her. Her face was calm and peaceful like a sleeping goddess. As the rays touched her face, her lashes flickered and then flew open. She hid in the duvet to adjust with the light first, the sat up. The room was warm and luxurious. The bedside table was transparent and shiny. On the table was some tablets and a glass of sweetened water. The floor was covered with a a soft hairy carpet.
" Am in in hospital? This must be among the luxurious hospitals in K nation." She thought.
She stepped out of bed and the mattress springed. She let her feet rest on the carpet as she enjoyed the feeling.
" Mmh... In this kind of hospital I can be sick forever." She sighed and smiled childishly. " It's too luxurious to be a hospital. Mmh... I want to stay here now. At least I won't be too sad being lonely in a luxurious place like this."
Naysa wanted to laugh at her own petty thoughts. She smiled lighty. But she couldn't continue thinking because the door open and a face she had seen before walked in closed the door behind. Naysa jumped to her feet.
" Sir I..." She checked her pocket but there was nothing. She looked at the table and saw what she was looking for, her phone.
" Sir I wanted to call you because when I fell down earlier today I think I have hip fracture. Now I don't know the bill of this hospital, you said you will pay right?" Naysa couldn't think of anything else to say. Naysa looked at the table hard but there was no card. Whoever took the phone out of my pocket took the card.
" You wanted to give me a call right? Then do so." He said softly and Naysa's mouth hung in shock. This man, how will I tell him I don't even know how I lost the card?
Jemmy wanted to laugh at the way the girl behaved. She was too cute and childish. He looked at her wide harzel eyes. Though innocent, he could see she was panicking. He took out the card and dropped it on the table. Naysa reached for the card but he snatched it first. She almost cursed.
" How did you find me? Which hospital is this?" Naysa asked.
" Here, take the card." He stretched his hand out for her. Naysa looked at the long fingers and the well trimmed nails, but didn't fantasize instead snatched the card off his hand and but her rosy lips hard. Jemmy looked at her lips, then her wide eyes and swallowed hard.
" Would you please tell me where am I?" She asked but then she remembered something. The picture Livia showed them back then when they were talking about annual company rating. Why does this face look exactly like the face she saw? She opened her eyes wide and studied his face. His a bit curly black hair, his black shiny eyes, the well shaped thick eye brows, the long eye lashes, the rosy pink lips, his medium sized sharp nose, he was no doubt the CEO of Red State Company. Naysa rubbed her eyes hard as if she was dreaming.
" You... You are .." Naysa stammered.
" Jemmy Grants." Jemmy now understood why she was acting weird, she was trying to deduce who he was. Probably she saw him somewhere, he couldn't guess.
Naysa heard the name and really wanted to collapse out of shock. She met Jemmy Grants, a rare figure in person. " Ooh my God... Sir... Umm.... Am sorry I need to leave." She wasn't sure what to do. She made two steps but a hand softly landed on her shoulder preventing her to leave. An electric current went through her body. The touch was soft and lulling.
" You had a high fever yesterday, you need to take the medicine." He pointed at the tablets on the table. Naysa turned back and grabbed the glass of water, but before she could swallow the tablets the man spoke.
" You're in Emerald Castle." He said
"Where is that?" She asked
" My house."
Naysa dropped the glass of water and the tablets fell on the carpet. She had just met the powerful person face to face, and before she could digest the shock, she was told where she was standing right now was his house.
" I want to wake." She said. Jemmy was surprised, what's wrong with her? She's not asleep. On the other hand Naysa thought, if this is a dream, I need to wake up. It's too much for me.
" You may leave if you feel better. I'll arrange for my driver to drop you off." He said and left.
