Lesile has her arms get washed in some water and this soapy cleaning agent. She does actually feel something through her crystals. That stuff feels a bit funny while cleaning her crystals. It's better than having the black tar all over her crystals from that Obsidian monster. "Is there a way to kill those things with a blaster?"
"I'm unsure, Probably the weaker ones could be killed like that." Graham says while sitting in his father's old Lab chair which is just an old office chair and he's enjoying every second of it. This is the best chair in the whole ship but it's kinda getting old. "You probably would need a blaster strong enough to blow a huge boulder apart in a single blow from how hard those things are."
"Yeah no, That would be a blaster cannon at that point and I'm not carrying that around." She's done cleaning her crystals at that point and looks for something to wash it but just regresses her crystals back into her arms. The damage from that monster is still on her arms and It seems to have lessened over time. "I'm some crystal being now, Uh... Is this normal?"
"It's normal, You're just a mix of a Element and Hybrid types of superhuman powers." He has his father's notes on superhuman powers and they're split into three different classifications. Graham gets water flicked into his face by Leslie. "Bleh! Gross..."
"At least get a towel if you're going to help someone wash up." Leslie wipes her hands on her clothes since there's nothing else to dry off with. She looks around for a spare chair before sitting on the clean counter top that's by the cleaning station. "Those monsters... Do we know any information on them?"
Graham wipes his face with sleeve before looking towards Alloy who's being weirdly quiet during this. He rested his head against his hand on the arm of this chair. Something is clearly up with this A.I since the recent fight. "How much do you know? Or ``How much is in my Father's research?"
"Doctor made those files classified but since you're the new captain, It's about time that you know what your father knew." Alloy feels a bit guilty for sharing files that his father didn't want people to know but it's his son, So maybe it's fine? She creates a holo-screen with her projection ability. "Those monsters are the enemy of living things in this universe, Your instinct to destroy them comes from the source of your powers."
"Our Abstract code? I had no idea that it would react like that." Graham feels a bit weird about this biological trait that powers his superhuman traits having that kind of influence. He looks to Leslie who's slowly nodding at this. "What's the cause of this? Did Dad know that much?"
"He was trying to figure it out but his last hypothesis was that they're an unnatural existence and Abstract Code has this natural instinct to exterminate unnatural existences like that." Alloy opens up his hypothesis and current evidence on it but he never got it to the level that would get it called a theory. "Another thing that he figured out was that the monsters are born at random levels but they get stronger with age."
"All of this is weird but I hate those monsters, They're way too dangerous." Leslie has some mixed feelings about this but she's just a pilot, The finer details about the science is too complex. The fact they grow with age means they just fought some recently hatched monsters. How strong are the really old ones? "The fact they grow stronger with age makes them pretty dangerous."
"Yes, That's the most dangerous aspect of their strength and there's no recorded lifespan for them." Alloy is showing them the files on the Holo-screen, So they can skim some of the science and the extra details about it. "He didn't get far as he would've liked but This was the learning research in these creatures."
Alloy freezes as something comes up on the ship's scanning systems. There's a loud banging sound outside as something is thrown into the ship by another monster. Many more of them have appeared, The group numbered 7 strong. "There's a group of monsters outside and They're attacking our ship."
"Those Bastards dare attack my new home? Captain, Shall we exterminate them?" Leslie says while jumping down from the counter top. She's not having any of them after them attacking her twice and she has had enough of getting attacked by them. She nods to Alloy while walking out of the Lab.
"Why is that even a question? Of course, No mercy for those awful monsters." Graham gets up from his chair. He's been resting for a good bit, So most of his stamina came back. his injuries haven't faded that much. However, He can't have Leslie fight them off alone and would be disgraceful as her captain.
Graham and Leslie walk out of their ship to see those monsters. There are 5 of them that look like some form of polish stone while two of them have a Golden appearance and two different kinds of blade. One of the stone monsters lifts up another small boulder to throw at their ship but Leslie quick draws her blaster and shoots it out of the air.
A Golden Monster rushes forward in a huge burst of speed but Graham quickly forms a Sword out of his Starry darkness to block its slash attacks. He's keeping up with the surprising speed for something that's pretty heavy. Each swing has a good amount of weight. However, The strength wasn't something that impressed Graham. Leslie shoots one of the stone monsters to only stun them for a second with little damage.
"Blasters are really not effective against them..." She tosses her blaster to the side and forms some crystals on her arms. It was helpful on the last monster, So It's likely going to help against weaker monsters. She's getting ganged up by those Stone monsters. They're a bunch of weird looking humanoids. "Why do I get all the stone ones!?"
Graham doesn't look at Leslie as the second Gold monster attacks him alongside the first one. He's nearly slashed by the second Golden monster but that allows him to get a slash on his upper arm. The wound is a bit shallow compared to that Chrome Monster's claw slash. He swiftly slashes into the first Golden Monster and leaves a deep wound in its side.
These stone monsters are sluggish compared to Leslie as she deals a power strike on one that leaves cracks all over its shoulder. They're much less brittle than that obsidian one, So their material affects how good their durability is. A Stone monster strikes Leslie in the face that caused cracks across her face.
"Ugh, Getting ganged up on isn't fun..." Leslie attacks back with a few punches towards the head area of the monster. It's body breaks apart around the neck but the Black Goop is very slow to leave their bodies. Another one attacks her in the side causing her to lose balance for a second. They're trying to surround her.
One of the golden Monsters gets sent flying towards a stone monster. Graham landed a powerful strike into the torso which sent it flying. He's been having a hard time with fighting two decently strong monsters, His wounds have slowed in their bleeding. Its golden body goes limp from the massive dent in its torso.
The second Golden monster gets one last swing towards Graham after he finishes off the first one. It's suddenly deflected by Graham's blade and A second blade forms that slices deeply into its chest. He's used to how sloppy some of these monsters fight. "Ha... These guys were pretty strong but predictable."
He watches the second monster corpse leak its foul goop onto the dry dirt. It's clearly not good to fight while recovering from yesterday and that copper monster. His body feels the strain of his minor regeneration working on his new wounds and bruises from the fighting. It looks like this is his current limit, So Leslie has to fight alone- He's fighting through his body feeling horrible to cut down one of those stone monsters.
"Graham! You're way too hurt for this, I got this." She doesn't want to owe her captain anything more or she will start feeling guilty. Leslie sees all those slash wounds from those Gold monsters, That's not any good conditions to keep fighting. One of the Stone monsters gets decked by her after saying this.
"Nonsense, I can still fight! The bleeding has slowed down." His body improved in slowing down the bleeding but He's still losing a lot of blood. Another one of those Stone monsters falls to his Blade in a shift movement. These things are pretty weak but the added support allows Leslie to take out two of them with a series of powerful punches.
"I can see you're losing balance, Stop pushing yourself like this." She doesn't want him to stupidly die from blood loss. That last monster is easily taken out from it being damaged around the neck from last time. Its head breaks apart upon hitting the ground. "You better not have the habit of nearly bleeding to death every time we fight something"
"Don't worry... I'm not going to do that again, Maybe." Graham starts walking back to the ship but suddenly feels himself falling down. His body has reached its current limit from these series of fights and his recent recovery. Leslie stops him from hitting the ground and starts helping him into the loading bay of his ship.
