Sia gradually opened her eyes and adjusted them to the bright light. It was early morning due to the chilly breeze, she noticed. Stretching her body and rearranging her things in her little hideout, she took her milk scarf and covered her hair all the way to her nose allowing only her mouth bare. Peeking left and right she slide her way deeper into the branches of the trees and made her exit to the road.
"Task one, change my appearance then find the perfect village."
"Task two, settle down and find a job. Sure that won't be hard." Murmured Sia. She walked down through the alley whereby shop owners began to open. She walked fast just for the sake to stay unknown and finally she stopped by the makeup store. Breath in! She whispered and then proceeded inside.
The bell rang indicating a customer has appeared and a man sitting around the Corner lifts his head and stares at the young lady that entered, a sudden pull of energy. He thought and zeroed his attention at her. Dropping his mug of tea down, he crossed his legs and adjusted he's sitting position.
"Good morning madam!" Sia greeted the woman without looking up. The woman had a smile plastered on her face and responded. "Morning dear. Such a pleasure having you around Maybelline makeup and store. What can I get for you." She asked with the same smile ok her face. Sia shifted her weight to her left leg and answered.
"Dark cosmetics" she simply said lowering her voice. The woman tilted her head to the side before nodding and disappeared into a room. Sia then lifted her scarf and wiped the little sweat away from her forehead allowing her hair sway forward on her face. She quickly covered her face when the returned with three medium sized boxes.
"Here we go! These are the dark cosmetics I have that would suit your taste. But dark doesn't actually fit your fair skin." She concluded and Sia hastily collected the boxes and dropping them on the nearest table. "I'm gifting them for a friend madam" she replied and clicked open the box leaning ok the table. "How much?" She asked.
"That only would cause you 5 silver coins dear." Sia froze on her spot, that's almost all her money! She thought. All of a sudden a smile made it's a way to Alvey's lips. Looks like pretty lady can't afford it. He thought and took the last sip of he's tea studying her carefully.
"But isn't that too much?" Sia asked returning the articles back into the box and returning it to the woman. "Here in Maybelline we sell products of good quality dear." She replied and Sia sighed inwardly. Perhaps the appearance could wait. I have other things to take care of. She said to her self.
"Thanks for your time. Maybe I could-"
"Belle why don't you give the young lady the makeup kit for just 2 silver coins!" A deep voice which made Sia's little heart beat erratically interrupted and she tensed. There was a man the whole time? She thought.
"Sure Alvey but-" He interrupted her again. "I'll pay. Thanks for the tea belle but I have to get going now." He stated and Sia could hear footsteps ascending towards her direction. She couldn't lift her head up to see them both and so she let her head down. "Good morning Sir. Thanks for your help but-" Sia was interested yet again.
"Could milady mind telling me her name" Sia was bowing down and lifting her dress when he interrupted. She stood still slowly and contemplated a quick lie. "It would be rude if one doesn't answers a lady's greetings sir." She said.
"Says who?" He asked with a slight smile on his face. "I'm sorry but that's how I was raised up. My name's Martha." She covered up the nervousness foaming at her. Alvey could sight her tensed body but brushed it away. He gave belle the 5 silver coins and turned back to her. "Well Martha, it's a pleasure meeting you. Where are you from?" He asked out of the blue ignoring the fact he was late for work.
"I have to go now." Sia quickly said. " Sad you didn't answer my question." He replied.
"From within the village. Thanks for paying but I would have to decline-" Sia was interrupted yet again and she is beginning to think if that was a habit of his. "And you speak of rudeness? I insist"
"Thank you" she breathed and bowed one last time at both of them and she took the kit and gentle left her heart still beating. Just as she was about 4 feet away from the door, the bell jingled indicating someone has entered and Sia's heart beat perked up. She stopped waiting for the two ladies to pass before she left also.
"Task one achieved! Now to settle down somewhere. Surely choosing a new village won't be hard." She said to her self in particular and walked away not knowing an intrigued someone heard her and a smile appeared on his handsome face. "Too bad you have a nice scent." He rode his horse stalking her in the shadows. When Sia was on her way she couldn't help but feel paranoid. Is someone following me? She thought but later brushed it off and hid into the forest where her secret shelter was located.
"Interesting!" He commented and rode towards the royal castle a smile plastered on his face.

"Lizzy! Lizzy! Wake up girl!" I groaned and slapped Harley's hand away. I slowly opened my eyes and adjusted them to the light. "We have to get going remember? I've packed my stuffs and informed my-"
"You what?!" I asked, fear clearly visible on my face. My heart beating loudly against it's ribcage. "I thought you were on my side!" I yelled getting angry all of a sudden.
"Lizzy-"
"Don't Lizzy me, if you knew you were gonna tell on me then what was the point in coming to me in the first place?"
"Here me out! I meant I told my colleagues I was going on a trip. Business trip!" She explained in her girly voice. I breathed in and out heavily and massaged by temples. "I'm sorry! I think I have anger issues."
"Nop! You don't, you're just hungry take this pie and munch on it. That's your bag slip it on and let's get going. I'm waiting for you on the lobby, be fast with that." She explained like a big boss and I chuckled. "Yes sir!"
"Where to?" I asked while running oj the quiet Alley.
"We have several choices but according to me I rather choose this area. It's quiet and trustworthy, if we gain their trust we'll be fine living in harmony." She explained and I jumped off on a trunk swiftly turned right towards her direction.
"Is it a village?"
"Maybe, not sure"
"Where's the closest? Isn't it faster if we use a car."
"We're trying to save money remember? Oh noo!" And we all stopped.
"We're surrounded!"
"Quick take a left! I know a way from there. The alley is really narrow around their. Find a V angle and jump their. We meet on the roof. Angle 40."
"Got it!" I sprinted through alley a long one and a sighted two men coming my direction. I ran with all my might and grabbed a stick and twisted body holding the stick firmly and swiping the stick around. They dodged it and I leaned forward bringing my right foot forward and punching the man on his stomach. I was satisfied by the grunt sound I got from him and a painful smack landed on my leg. I knelt forward holding my leg in pain.
"Grab her idiot" The grunting man yelled and I took the stick and with a swift it landed perfectly on his knuckles. I smiled and bolted forward. I found the V angle and jumped on it left and right hoping and climbing through the buildings I successfully made it on top of the roof.
"Lizzy watch out!" I heard Harley yell and turned around. Just in time dodging a punch. I didn't have time for fighting and ran towards Harley. She grabbed my arm and jumped down the roof. My heart was drumming.
"Harley!!!!!" I yelled and we landed softly. No one moved my eyes stings but I stayed still. After a while I made an attempt to raise my head but I felt Harley squeeze my hand and I stayed still.
"They made a plan, it's an escape look forward and lock the roads. Go! Go! Go!" A man yelled.
"That.. was.. AWESOME!" Harley giggled and I couldn't believe my ears. "What?!"
"I need to get access through the internet Lizzy! My device just broke out of climbing the roof."
"How's getting beaten up awesome?"
"No silly I mean our run, outsmarting them and all. I haven't had that much fun in a long time." I facepalmed my self and sniffed a sneeze. "How did you plan all this shit?"
"You mustn't know girly" With that said she stood up from the flour basket and dusted herself. I did the same
"Whatever, just tell me where we're going to next. This people have to stop following me!!"
"Well whose fault is it?" She asked adjusting her hood and bag. "We're heading to Willow creek! The so called lost city."
"How long from here on foot?"
"Ummmmm 2 days!'' she said too cooly.
"Relax silly we're not traveling by foot. I've had a hot ride gifted. Check it out." She pushed open an old garage and what I saw got my eyes drooling.
"Oh.. my.. God!!!! It's that a.."
"Yeah baby! Hope in." She exclaimed happily and opened the door. My mouth was still left agape but I still entered anyways.
"I don't know how you got this but this!! Is awesome."
"To Willow creek!" She toasted on an imaginary glass cup.
"I don't get. We're not celebrating anything"
"You always spoil the fun. Just be weird for once please. I'm gonna miss this alley."
"To Willow creek it is then" I exclaimed and we toasted on our imaginary glass.
