Luke stared out the window, dumbstruck.
How could he possibly be seeing something that Clement,here, couldn't see.Were his eyes working overtime?Was he hallucinating?Was that tree really ablaze but the other Elves couldn't see it?Well,he might be right.Clement mentioned that tree protecting the campus premises at night,so it must have been bewitched or enchanted.Whatever the case may be,Luke was perplexed.He had never seen a blazing tree that the rest couldn't see.He stared out the window, completely awash with surprise.The Elves who sat beneath its wide and wildly spread branches were so free willed they made Luke forget the tree was there.
Luke switched his attention from the tree and started to study the campus premises,but his sight went no further from the boys' dormitories.He couldn't help but start to admit the colossus build of the dormitory.This building was so beautiful and well built in some sort of medieval style.It looked like a palace,a block of apartments and many other things.
Suddenly,his attention was captured by something.
Strolling around lazily were multiple things.They were made of stone probably,and looked like elves.They were carrying their weapons.Luke guessed they were the what Eric had called whatever-knights.They, definitely,were guarding the school.Luke was almost awestruck.This campus had loads and loads of security.First,the dome,then the Dunédains and also those stone knights,or whatever they were.
"Hey there!Get dressed boyo.We are moving out a bit,"Clement called from behind Luke.
"What!!"Luke gasped,turning around."You can't go outside dressed like that.You could lose your vacancy,"Clement dropped a set of uniforms on Luke's bed."All students are entitled to put on uniforms on school premises."he said."Okay,"Luke strode over and started to put on his uniforms.They were like the others' uniforms.Taking off his Levi's and t-shirt,he pulled on his uniforms.He looked quite elegant.With the uniform now on,he tied his long dark silky hair in a ponytail,and left some of it to cascade down his shoulders.That style of tying hair was what he had seen of the elves who had long hair like he did, except the females.
"I must admit you look quite good in that uniform," a familiar voice came from the doorway.Standing there was Asralyn.She held a vile of some seaming carrot orange liquid.
"What is that?"Luke asked."Here,"she handed it to him,"take this and let's pray it works!!"
Luke hesitantly took the vile and popped it open.Asralyn nodded for him to take it, reassuringly.Luke gulped down the liquid and almost pulled out his neck.The liquid burnt like hell."It should burn a little,but will be able to interchange your abilities,"Asralyn said.
Luke almost strangled her,but resisted the urge.'It should burn a little' but it was burning like hell.
"Thanks!"Luke hissed.He swallowed a couple times to cool down the hell in his throat but to no avail.Asralyn handed him a bottle of water,"Here.Take this.It will help concentrate the potion.Immediately,Luke gulped down the water and sighed in relief as the water cooled his throat.
"We gonna be late,guys!"Eric suddenly appeared in the doorway."Have the ceremonies started?"Clement asked, putting on his coat."Not yet,but pretty soon!!"
Soon,the four were walking down the walkway heading towards the Eldarion Hall.Asralyn had said that was where the Elves in Havens gathered for assemblies and stuff.While they went,they passed by Rock Soldiers.They were patrolling the school, tirelessly.
Soon,they walked into The Eldarion Hall.This hall was colossal.It was more like a basilica,held up by multiple columns,and decorated flawlessly.There were long tables,at which students were already seated, anticipating the upcoming ceremony.Asralyn led them up a spiral staircase,to the second floor of this colossus.There were several students, probably seventy-something years old,like Clement said he was.
"These are the Third Years!"Clement whispered in Luke's ears.They strode through the rows of tables at which the students sat and sat at table 27.Luke guessed this was where the Chamber 27s sat.
"My goodies!!"Luke exclaimed, staring around the extravagant hall.The hall was lit by hundreds of candles, mopping the hall with their bright yellow light.There were portraits of Elves, probably the first batch to study here,on the walls all around the hall.This place was so elven-like.
"This place is damn awesome!!"Luke almost shouted."Sure thing!!"Asralyn said.
"Hey there!"Rohan sat down.He had just arrived.Just about then,Robin,too,sat down,followed by Krysmis,who looked as cold and distant as ever."Hey there,Luke boy!!"Robin greeted.He looked like he had been upto the mischief that designed his face."Could you be quiet for a second,Robin?"Rohan snapped.Just about then,Eric sat down.ANOTHER ERIC!!!Luke was baffled.How could there, possibly,be two Erics.He looked at the both of them, awestruck."Hey there,"second Eric said.
Luke's mouth became a small 'O'. Second Eric sat down beside Luke,and kinda far away from First Eric."What are you doing here,Enoc?"first Eric sneered, shooting second Eric a hard glare."Eric, don't be so rude to not introduce your twin brother to Luke!!"Asralyn said.
"Does Eric have a twin brother?"Luke asked, perplexed."Yeah!Me!"second Eric said."That,over there,is Enoc Jai-Blynn!!"Eric snorted,disgust clear in his voice.How could he feel disgusted by his twin brother?
"Hey,Luke!Eric's told me so much about you!"Enoc boomed.He and Eric looked very alike,the amber hair and bright green eyes.He was the exact copy of Eric,except that he looked much more cheerful than Eric was.
"I just met him today,and we haven't talked ever since last week!!"Eric snorted, leaning against the table,arms crossed."Oh,I see!!"Enoc took Luke's hand and shook it,a little hard,without Luke's consent."Careful now, Enoc!"Clement stated."I'm so pleased to meet you,"Enoc continued to shake Luke's arm."Um.... don't you think you're too wild with my arm!!"Luke said, straining to free his arm from Enoc's grasp."Oh!!"Enoc gasped, letting go of Luke's arm.Luke shook his hand mildly to get used to being free from Enoc's grasp,once again.
"Greetings,Ladies and Gentlemen!!" an elf with a bugle called.He needed that bugle because the hall was extravagant and enormous, supplemented by the noise the students were making.
"Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen!"he repeated and immediately,the hall became graveyard silent.
