Chapter 10
Princess Elish had evolved into doing many despicable things. She would pay deaf ears to her mother's plea and flout her father's instruction. There was yet another war between the Kumha clan and the Talis' tribe. When this was ongoing, Princess Elish took from the pillars in the palace, a coral curtain that extended from the tower that was implanted adjacent to the palace walls. She extended it to the stray walls of the palace and with the help of a ladder, she tossed her self-outwards, whilst hitting her tender budding breasts against the walls of the palace.

The day was accompanied by a stench of funeral odors and a blast from the scorching sun. Even the elements seemed to agree that the day looked perfect enough for war. Elish was going to witness her very first battle. Of course she didn't plan to watch from a distance- she intended to join in the war herself.

As she crawled up the wall, she kept reminding herself the reason why she had set out for battle in the first place.
Today! She was going to fight for the Kumhas' and there was no stopping her!
Elish encouraged herself as streaks of hot sweat rolled down her forehead, into her squinted eyes.
She felt the slow eroding of the quartzite bricks as the curtain braced against the wall from above her face, while empting some of its crusts into her eyes. But however much she squinted, they still found a way into her eyes. Still she continued crawling upwards.
Elish was fortunate enough to make it outside the palace walls without raising any eye brows. She had meandered her way through the golden rocks and had found her way into the woods. Her worries had abated having gotten out of the palace in one piece. For Elish, her greatest fear wasn't getting killed in this war, for she knew her motif was a sincere one. She didn't have intention to prove a point to anyone but herself… for she was in pursuit of justice.
For Elish, her greatest fear was getting caught by the palace guards while escaping from the palace.
"The Kumha clan has been bullied for too long", Elish thought to herself as she thrusted deeper into the woods. As she recalled all the evils that were done to the Kumha clan by other kingdoms, Elish excavated her sword from underneath her side pocket and held it high up in the air while gnashing her teeth in the spirit of warfare.
The warrior beast living in her young body, had been even more aggravated by the thought of injustice to the Kumha clan.
"Today I shall wield my sword and take down the heads of many Talis' men. The earth shall drink of their bloods and have their fill. Even the hellish gates shall ponder upon the entrance of souls into their habitation", said Elish as she let out an immature growl "grawwwwwww"!!!!- While out running the forest trees.

ZEEEWHP!
ZEEEWHP!!
The force of focused arrows slung passed Elish' ears, welcoming her formally to battle!
A bloodied mouth had just spat toward her direction! And she replied the Talis' man with two strikes and a disgust!
The outlines of wounded heads and used weapons were all in juxtaposition!
"Advance brave Talis'"! A gangling warrior with a hazel broken tooth ordered his men… it was an exhortation to action and they did advance!
The war was heated up like the domain of hell. The Talis' had men twice the measure of the Khumhas' but neither of them was ready to back down!
****
Behind her sweaty face shield, Elish ran like a calf chased by a dog as she brought her sword to toast against the neck of a Talis' man. His head was like a merchant's venture and his skin seemed to have invisible layers. All she saw was an elephant human, growling in dry tones as he sought to plunge his sword into the face of a fetus sized Kumha warrior.
Before he made it to time, Elish pulled her bow from behind her and sashed an arrow to support it. It was a quick send that happened while she was still in a suspended feat!
Soooocht! It went in like a threatened messenger digging right into his oscillating heart. Elish sought to confirm his death, by taking out a bronze dagger and sinking it right into his neck.

No one knew that there was a young woman on the battle ground, fighting amongst valiant men. It had never been heard that women went to war when men were still living. Elish however thought more highly of herself than any other female. She had the strength of a warrior even at such a young age. She was also braver than many of her equals- but it was doubted she had any equals.
****
The air seemed to be improving as the bodies of her rivals dropped in innumerable numbers.
The Kumha men fought like their lives depended on their next kill…but of course it did!
Swords clashed against swords with floating fire emissions. A single Kumha warrior attempted five Talis' men, because they were fewer in number. It was a bull's fight on whale's way.
Their King was surrounded by a hundred men for it looked like a bounty was placed on his head but still he got the heads of forty men rolling down the ground.
****
"It is time", the King of Kumha ordered!
Do it now!
Now! He screamed the louder!
Elish was clueless.
"What was to be done now," she asked herself looking around.
"Shall I run back to the palace forthwith"?
"What is about to happen"? She screamed, turning to a Kumhan who was half dead as though demanding an answer!
She was still sweating profusely, when a ruthless looking Kumhan knight marched forward and hurriedly led them in their retreat!
TO THE TOMB!
RETREAT!
RETREAT!
TO THE TOMB!! He repeated, as flickers of saliva escaped from his hasty mouth.
Before he had finished giving the second command, all the Kumhan warriors who had survived the blows of the last fight, began to run like they were in competition with the wind.
They had made several traps at the entrance of the Tomb of Henna, but the Talis' men knew it not. The Talis' men followed them on foot not knowing the misfortune about to ravage them.
RUMP BLUMP!
RUMP BLUMP
These were the sounds heard as he Talis' men literally fell head over heels into the ditch. They fell over one another like a house of cards. There were hundreds of swords planted in the huge ditch, each one piercing through their shocked bodies. Thousands of Talis' men went into the ground on that day. It was a day of deep sorrow for the Talis' tribe.
****
Princess Elish was not convinced enough to follow the Kumha warriors into the tomb, as she figured she could just run back home instead.
A kettle of vultures had already descended on the flesh of some brave fighters. It was a sign that she was getting late already.
Elish ran into the woods as fast as her very weak legs could carry her. When she was only some kilometers into the woods, she heard some gruff voices laughing cynically like jackals as they jeered at something very oblivious to her.
She was weak but her curiosity was too strong to be ignored. She had decided to move closer and when she did move close, she saw someone crouched in the Kumhan tunic. He looked disheveled- like he had ran through the mud. He was in the middle of about twenty Talis' men. He looked weak, in pains and severely tortured.
As she hid behind a tree, to look closer, she found out it was the King of the Kumha Clan. He had been captured!
****
"I can't leave him here", she murmured to herself.
"I must rescue him or at least try", she added.
As she tried to tip toe down the undulating slope, Elish lost her footing and fell like a bolt out of the blue!
She crash landed into the center of the Talis' men, shoving against the crouched King. As her body touched the ground, her face shield came off.
****
"A woman"?? They all roared in surprise!!!
