"I'm tired of waiting. Isn't there something we could do?" I complained while smelling Charlie's diaper, confirming that the poop I was smelling was indeed his, and fresh.
"I'm sorry, but there isn't, unless you want to open for business, but even then, we're not ready," Esmeralda replied. I shook my head.
"I don't, but we need to look like we're going to. Did you think of a name yet?"
"How about The Nine Heavens, since we're starting with nine workers?"
I nodded while changing Charlie's diaper. I wiped the filth away with damp cotton balls.
"That's a good name. It sounds high-class and elegant while still conveying what the establishment is about. How is the renovation work going?"
"I don't really know how these things usually go, but it seems like it's proceeding quickly enough. We have a few weeks until it's complete. Some of the girls already moved into their new rooms."
