After we returned home I tried to distract myself by playing with Charlie, but my thoughts kept going back to Nila. I had to do something to stop those so-called Harem Busters. The name itself was revolting. It sanitized what they did, made it seem like little more than innocent mischief or vigilantism, erasing the horror they inflicted on their victims, and if they weren't caught, not only would their crimes go unpunished, not only would Nila not receive any justice, but they would do it again. I hated being stuck at home with nothing to do but wait for the news, and most likely that news would only come after another attack. There had to be something that I could do now.
I looked at the list Jacob received from the commander of the City Guard. It detailed the locations and dates of the previous attacks. They were spread out across the city, but perhaps there might be some pattern I could use. For example, where did they escape to after each attack?
