I absently flicked away another of Glenn's threads.
Over the past few days Vivian and Esmeralda were strangely absent, spending almost all their time in our pleasure house, and I knew what they were up to. I could have stopped them. I could have given Esmeralda a firm "no", but I didn't. Part of it was because I didn't really think of myself as their owner, despite whatever the local laws might have said. It was Vivian's money. She earned it, and if she wanted to use it to support Esmeralda's scheme, that was up to the two of them and had nothing to do with me.
