'Thought'

After walking for another ten minutes, with the constant pain from my arms keeping me from fainting. Looking at the castle in front of me, I follow the road that seems to only lead to the castle itself. Even if I missed the road, there is no way I'm going to get lost on my way toward the castle.
After all, the castle is massive while also standing on top of a hill in the middle of the forest, so there is no way anyone would miss something like that.
Finally arriving near the castle, I can hear no sound of animals at all. It's quiet, too quiet. There should be the sound of a small animal at least, but there is none of that, the only sound that I can hear is the sound of me walking, which seem to echo in the entire forest.
It starts to make me feel uneasy, it is too quiet in the forest, like there is no animal around the castle here at all, but there is no point in me turning back now. Even if I want to go back, there is no place for me to go now.
All I care about right now is to get in the castle and maybe get help. If they are not going to help me, I will kill them and take this castle as my own.
Walking toward the castle, I can see that the door is made out of wood, and it's quite big, to say the least.
Standing in front of the door, I would knock on the door to notify people inside the house, but since my arms are literally broken right now, there is no way I would do that, so I do the next best thing that comes into my mind.
Part of my shirt immediately transformed into Rashomon and sliced the door like it was butter. The door immediately fell on the floor, with another half of it still on the doorframe.
Stepping inside, what greeted me in the long stone hallway decorated with lighted candles, with a red carpet on the floor.
Whoever build this castle must sure love gothic novels.
But that aside, I was kind of joking, thinking about the fact that there will be vampires living here, but now? I think there might be an actual vampire here.
Stepping inside the castle, I kept walking trying to find someone, after all, those candles cannot light themselves, there must be at least one person here, and judging by the fact that, when I broke the door, I was not being subtle about it, there is no way the person who lived in here, doesn't hear the sound of the wall broken down.
And just like I expected, I can hear someone running toward me. After a couple of seconds, I can see an outline of a human that seems to have a female appearance, and from what I can see, her hand seem to be glowing blue? And there seems to be the sound of something crackling.
Before I could even make out what it was, I was greeted with a shot of blue electricity coming toward me, but my Rashomon was able to appear and block the electricity blast.
Stepping out of a shadow, I can now see her appearance.
A woman that seems to be in her early twenty, she has average height, with brown hair and purple eyes. She has her hair in a low ponytail, and she seems to be wearing a doctor outfit with her white coat, which can clearly be stained by blood.
Her face seemed to be frowning after seeing how her attack seemed to doesn't work on me.
Is her power electricity manipulation? That is quite a powerful power, but is she a mutant just like me? Or maybe she is something else? Well, it doesn't matter, and that what matters right now is that she seems to be a doctor.
As much as I want to kill her, she seems to be a doctor, and killing her would be a very bad idea if I want to heal my arms.
But how would I solve this situation? Talk her out of it? There is no way she is going to listen to someone who just broke into her house? Castle? Whatever.
But talking is my best solution right now, so...
''Quite rude attacking someone before introducing yourself,'' I said; this is how you start a conversation, right?
''Oh really, I see no reason why I should introduce myself to someone who decides to break into my house.'' She said while charging her electricity, readying to attack me any moment.
''I need help.'' I said immediately before she could attack me, while also showing my arms that still have Rashomon nails(?) sticking out of them, which immediately caused her eyes to widen and stop charging her attack.
''The hell happened to your arms?'' She said while walking toward me.
Huh, that was easier than I thought.
''You're not gonna kill me?'' I ask
''Killed you? There is no way I'm going to kill you after seeing your injuries. As a doctor, it's my duty to heal people first, kill them later.'' She answers while grabbing my arms, causing me to immediately grunted in pain from the touch, but she seems to doesn't care.
Heal first, kill later? Is that an oath doctors take these days? Quite an interesting oath, for me, to say the least.
Or maybe she a quack?
After inspecting my arms after a few seconds, she finally let it go before smacking me in the head. I thought my Rashomon would come out and block the hit, but I was wrong. Maybe it's didn't consider this as a thread?
''What did you do to your arms, you stupid brat!? Both of them are totally broken, and those nails are holding your arms together, just making it worse!!'' She shouts while glaring dagger at me.
Huh, she can know all of that with a few seconds of inspection? Not bad, I guess.
''Can you heal me?'' I simply ask her. I don't care about the fact that my Rashomon nails are making it worse. All I care about is the fact that can she heal me or not?
The moment I ask that question, she looks down on me straight in the eyes, and her mouth moves up into a smile, but not one of those reassuring smiles that you see on a doctor, her smile is that of a sadistic killer, and her aura just screams crazy.
Hm...
I think I might be in danger.
''Of course, I can. I will not only heal your arms, but I will make sure that your arms are better than ever.'' She said, her sadistic smile never leaving her face.
She turns around and gestures to follow me. I silently follow her behind.
Walking through the castle, I can see outside of the window on the castle wall; I can see that nighttime finally arrived.
''You live here, alone? In this big castle?'' I ask, breaking the silence.
''No, there is another person here, but he sleeping right now.''
'Is this person your patient?''
''Hm... You could say that.''
Well, not suspicious at all.
Finally, after a two-minute walk, we finally arrive at a room that seems to be like every other room. When she opened the door, I could smell the distinct smell of blood.
I quickly entered the room after her, and what greeted me was a sight to behold.
There are many wooden shelves everywhere in the room, and on those wooden shelves are jars of animal parts and human parts that seem to be somehow fresh. In contrast, in the middle of the room seem to be an operating table, which obviously is covered in blood.
But what caught my eyes, is a certain object at the corner of the room. It's a pitch-black coffin, and on the lid seem to be decorated with a cross.
Yep, not suspicious at all.
She sits down on the chair in front of the desk before pulling out another chair while gesturing for me to sit down.
I quickly sit down on the chair with my arms on both sides of my body; I can still feel the massive pain coming from my arms.
''Name?'' She asks while holding pen and paper in her hands.
Question time, huh?
''Ryunosuke Akutagawa'' I answer
''You don't look Asian to me.''
''I'm not.''
''Well, whatever. Ages?''
''Thirteen.''
''Quite young, not bad.''
Not bad? What the hell is that mean?
''How long have your arms been broken?''
How long? Maybe a few hours? Considering that I pass out, but what if I stay unconscious longer than a day? Let just hope it's not the latter.
''Few hours.''
''Hm...'' She hums to herself after my answer.
''Ok then, don't worry about it, brat, you have met the best doctor in the world, and I will make sure that you will be able to use your arms again.''
''The best doctor? I have never seen or heard of you before.'' I answer
''Please, just because you never see me doesn't mean I'm not the best.''
''Ok... But what is your name? As a patient, I should at least know my doctor name.''
''True, true.'' She said before standing up.
She slowly walks toward the coffin sitting in the corner and seems to be pulling out something behind the coffin.
She then pulls out a giant bone saw from behind the coffin.
''My name is Mary Shelley, and you can call me doctor Mary.''
Well, I guess there is no vampire here, but instead, there is a monster living here.
