Alastair was celebrated all across erdrea but despite this only three women actually knew where he was a month after the death of mordegan. a large magic circle was carved into a slab of mithril the size of a small room and a foot thick. alastair stood in the center of the circle completely naked with his full body on display. despite this neither of the girls watching on had any thoughts beyond hope for a good outcome. the circle lights up and at first nothing seems to happen which confused the girls but alastair was looking at the problem.

Alastair did not expect something like this to occur when he had agreed to undergo the dragovian race change ritual. this event surprised him greatly but he didn't give it much thought before he accepted the system prompt. immediately alastair felt the magic of the circle start to get sucked into his body before he fell unconscious. a silver sphere formed around alastair surprising the girls since nothing like this had ever happened before but they didn't panic since they could still feel alastairs aura meaning he was safe.
*SYSTEM HOST EXCEEDS CURRENT PARAMETERS UPDATE TO GAME SYSTEM INITIATED*
As alastair transformed on a fundamental level the system also changed into a far more powerful form with the fallout system as its basis. months passed with no sign of alastairs awakening and an ominous event occurred in the desert near gallopolis that had everyone on edge. erdwins lantern had apparently fallen out of the sky but rather than destroying the area it fell on it shattered releasing a massive amount of dark mana before flying higher into the sky leaving a chilling message behind.
"I CALASMUS HAVE RETURNED! THIS WORLD SHALL SOON BE BROUGHT TO ITS END!"
This announcement sparked panic across the world as everyone sought out the luminary who had defeated mordegan nearly a year ago. erisa and jade had collected the party in the face of this new threat and brought them to the floating sliver sphere that contained alastair. a change that was noticed immediately by the party was the instinctual suppression they felt standing near the sphere as well as the shining blue liquid under the sphere that the twins revealed to be pure mana condensed to such an extreme so as to liquefy.
An interesting thing to note was that the twins and erik seemed to have become an item in the past year. this was clearly noticeable with how they were holding one of his hands each when erisa had found them. when asked how such a thing had happened erik explained that he had nothing to do so he had stuck with the twins for most of the year. after confessing to serena he was told that the twins were a package deal which he accepted. nonetheless the rest of the party congratulated the trio and wished them happiness.
A week after the party arrived near the silver sphere a change in the situation happened. the sphere began to crack which didn't go unnoticed by the person on watch duty at the time which was rab. the party watched as more and more cracks began to cover the sphere and after the entire thing was covered in fine cracks they all "felt" alastair awaken. the sphere shattered into dust revealing a small creature with brilliant gold and royal purple scales covering its reptilian body. on the creatures back two leathery golden and purple bat like wings lay folded against the spine.
Spikes of pure white lined the creatures back all the way to the long thick scaled tail with a small spike on its tip. the creature had four limbs with five clawed digits on the ends whereas the creatures face was broad and well defined with a crown of horns resting on its top. the mouth had rows of razor sharp fangs that remained hidden behind scaled skin. the only incongruous thing was that the creature was only the size of what alastair was before which was much smaller than erisa's dragon form.
Alastair opened his eyes and could feel the difference in his body with the biggest difference being the extra limbs on his back and rear that he instinctively knew how to use. he looked around the room and saw the entire party gathered around looking at him which confused him greatly. "how long was i out for?" he asked with a deep rumbling voice that surprised him. "six months and there's been a development." jade said seriously. which caused alastair to focus on her causing her to flinch. with a flex of his new transformation power alastair turned into a human shape with some startling changes from before he changed race.
