"Haaa…"
"Sister, don't be sad. It's an event. Event!"
The little sister, Lina says with sparkling eyes.
They are currently travelling with their party of six real life friends to the city of Twilight.
Alni, the goblin. Priest that can hunt, fight, cast magic, and obviously heal.
Lina, Alni's sister and Lizardman. Vanguard that can use almost any close combat weapons. There are countless weapons strapped to her body.
Kan, male and Giant. 4m tall Archer wields what might as well be a siege weapon. Uses bow and spears.
Weiz, male and Were-Mouse. Support Alchemist that fights with gimmicks, the least economical fighter. Money drain.
Elise, female and Fox Beastkin. Assassin, very normal.
Chain, male and Ghoul. Mage with racially suppressed mana pool. Magic frontline tanker.
They make up the party of oddballs and is now nearing the wall of their destination.
While spatial gates have been restored, Twilight is not one of the major cities with one built. So they travelled from the nearest city with a gate on foot.
"I'm not sad, just defeated. Even though the Song Princess is all naïve and sunny on camera, she can be surprisingly devious when she wants to be."
After the legendary moment on the community post, the rookie adaption plan was set in motion. The Princess went straight to work and acquired management over Twilight City, then afterward, all wanderers started gathering into the Holy Kingdom.
It is causing quite a disturbance. The spatial mages work on a schedule and the gates cannot be used to cross borders, it is a pain for everyone to find their way around the new feature.
However, one of the cornerstones of the plan, Alni of the four goblin, am not interested in teaching rookies. As the authority of the wanderer's magical study, it is a huge blow to the moral and the plan.
So they negotiated.
'There is the magical domain, Celestial Court lying within the city. Aruk built it. If you want to know how to get in, help me out. Pretty please~'
Instant defeat. KO.
What's devious was that the Princess was planning to tell them anyways, but suddenly decided not to tell Alni if she refuses her request.
Masterful.
She completely saw through Alni's attachment to her teacher.
"But is it really fine to remodel an entire city? It's going to cause a lot of problems."
"Idiot, that's why we have to be careful and plan it thoroughly."
The Were-Mouse, Weiz hits the giant Kan on the head. Since his legs are short, his height reaching 80cm only, he is sitting on Kan's shoulders.
"If we fail then it might turn very ugly, but there is no indication that this is not allowed. In fact, we seem to be encouraged."
[Event: 'Convergence Of Thousand Tributaries' Is In Progress]
[Please Reach Twilight City Of The Holy Kingdom To Progress To The Next Stage]
"'Convergence Of Thousand Tributaries', does that refer to the wanderers trickling into Twilight and working together? Poetic."
"The Devs might be Chinese. It sounds like one of those novels, like the 'Strongest Under Heaven Martial Gathering!'"
"Wrong genre here. How did you turn a city building simulator into a hot blooded shounen RPG?"
"They both sound exaggerated."
"But no doubt it's very hype."
"Seems like the world is action driven, whether it's the Fels or the wanderers."
"They did emphasise realism many times."
They chat about many things on top of their head as they got closer to the towering gate and walls. There are many people waiting outside, forming a line.
"Alright, we're here. Get in line."
The gate seem very busy, likely because of all the gathering wanderers. They continue chatting as they waited for the line to progress.
"…Next."
After a long wait, it is finally their turn. The party's leader, Lina, answers for the party.
"Yes yes! Wanderers here!"
"Wanderers again? You have all been very reasonable until now, so please don't cause any trouble okay?"
"Of course!"
After confirming their identity, they entered the city.
Unlike when the game was first launched and all the wanderers ran rampant, the atmosphere is only slightly tense and filled with harmony. All the loyal members of the game knows what to do and what not.
The Twilight City is one of the medium sized cities of population around 200,000. It is far from enough to support all the wanderers, that's why they need to be careful in the initial development. If the population suddenly explodes then the city will fall into chaos. It is a project of length unknown.

[Please Acquire A Role For This Event]
"Let's go to the Central Hall. It's the current planning centre."
"Let's go, let's go!"
While most of the world works under the feudal system with nobilities handling a piece of land, the Holy kingdom is a place where the Church holds the highest power. So rather than a mansion in the middle of the city, it's a government office.
They walk down the streets and is stared at by Fels and wanderers alike. Even among the weird wanderers, their party stands out.
"Alni--!"
The Song Princess spied them from afar and closes in immediately.
"I'm so glad you are here! If you're not here then I don't know what those blood boiling beasts will do to me!"
The Princess is shaking her hand in tears as she narrates her difficulty as a capable person. Her responsibility is quite heavy as the one who started and made the gathering possible. The others has a tendency of treating her like a wishing machine, which she has yet to fail as.
"The division of work has been done already. There will be people dealing with domestic and political problems, though the politics in the Holy Kingdom shouldn't be too complicated. As long as we don't betray the teachings of the Gods, we will be fine."
The priests of this world are all conferred by the Gods. If they were to be corrupt, they will not be able to stay hidden so the political climate of this kingdom is quite harmonious, especially because the Gods aren't very demanding to their believers. The doctrine is also very flexible since the three Goddesses encompasses everything in the world. The world it is now was shaped by their belief.
"Then it's the security and military. Military is still a bit far away so we can only rely on the various guilds right now, like the adventurers and the hunters guild.
Then there is the merchants and the production workers. They are the most vital in the city's development. However, they won't be able to do anything much until they master the ways of mana, so please, help us!"
"I got it, I'll think up something to teach you guys."
The Princess let's go of Alni's hand and hops on the spot.
"Yay! And also, the biggest reason new players are not joining is because of the combat. Your main job is to find an easier way to for them to integrate with battles in this world."
"You are asking a lot, how can it be so easy."
"Please~, I'll take you to the Court when you come up with a plan."
She winks, but to Alni, she seems more devilish than cute.
"Yes, Princess."
"Just call me April!"
"…Then April."
