"I can't direct the spoon properly," he stated the obvious, like there was a need to excuse his own ineptness.

And just as expected, even the nurse who was on guard blushed watching a sweet, blindfolded husband trying to feed his injured wife. Both of them were trying, yet they still managed to laugh through their hardship.
