Chapter 15 - 15. The Boss at Home

"I want you to bathe me," Aruna teased her husband. The blue eyed man smiled looking at his wife who tried to seduce him.

He was stunned. He was fighting with his two responsibilities.

"If I bathe you, we both will be too late. Don't try to seduce me or you will have trouble to go to campus," Hendra tried scared her off.

Aruna let her arm loose from her husband body. her face looked sullen. Hendra touched her hair and kissed it lightly. "Go take a bath now. I am waiting for you at the dining table," he left his wife who was still looking down in the dump.

In another corner of different house, a newly-wed couple was still trying to adapt to each other's aily life.

The man looked perfect in the neatness decided to go back to work faster from the leave he took from his workplace. They even had no time for a honeymoon yet. It was because the woman had skipped too many times for classes so that it was impossible for her to leave the lectures. She was searching the possibility in the month to go.

Surya had set the table for the third time his way. Every time Dea finished her cook and put it on its place, Surya thought the need to rearrange it his way. And the most concerning part was that he would make sure the pantry was back to its previous condition, no water drops at all.

Surya adopted Hendra with his perfectionist, but not with his wife.

Wry smiles were often shown on her sweet face. Another problem rose intheir bed at night. Surya was often awoken anytime Dea made a move, spontaneously his hand tidied the blanket up. Or about his shirts he planned to wear again the following day, they had to be put on hangers and kept them neat. He would not allow her to just lay it somewhere like many of us.

So it could be imagined how the campus life for Mahendra and Surya. Hendra loved cooking because he could not eat any food in any places, while Surya liked cleaning because he liked tidiness. Hendra even could not sweep the floor because Surya did it all.

And in this five day of their marriage, it revealed that both had different habits. It was turning to be a dilemma for them.

"Oh' sorry…I did not mean it," Dea dropped her spoon from the table on purpose. And hurriedly Surya picked up some tissues to wipe the floor. That girl glanced at what her husband was doing. Marriage life was not like the pre-marital guidance book she had read. Two different persons' struggling to adapt to each other was not exactly like sweet romance written in cheap romance stories.

"Uff... bad water…," again Dea spilled the water from her glass. The water wetted the table at once. Without any words, Surya wiped the table with some tissues.

Surya ate in silence as he always does, so silence, stiff, and dull. The craziest was in their five day marriage life, Surya was still awkward and nervous when facing his mischievous wife. He always had problems to start his roles as an adult man in adult scenes despite his being a single for 30 years.

"Huhh, this chicken chunk is hard to eat.." Dea tied to pull the chicken wing with her two hands. As a result, the greasy spice of opor (chicken cooked with many spices and coconut milk) dropped everywhere.

_Hemm.. what are you going to do now_ Dea mumbled to herself and glanced at her husband's reaction. He was watching her.

"Dea, could you eat in more civilized way?" he said so before his hand reached the tissues and cleaned the table from the grease of opor. But Dea rubbed her dirty right hand on the table. Her smiled was mischievous. Of course Surya did not see it.

"Dea, what are you doing??!" Surya exclaimed in disbelieved, but that girl just shrugged her shoulders in reply. . "Sorry…" and then Dea's left hand landed on the table.

"Dea..??" Surya stood up, caught up that girl's both wrists, pulled her to the wash basin, and cleaned her hands thoroughly without too much talking.

The next move was he came to the table again and cleaned all the mess his wife made some time ago. He did not aware that his wife was really upset with him.

"What time are going home? I will pick you up," Surya broke the silence as the car was about to reach the building of design department.

"No, you don't need to," Dea was still upset so she was playing hard to his insensitive husband.

"But why not?"

"Nothing,"

"Oh' You want to meet with your friends first?"

"Nope! I don't plan to meet anyone?"

"So??"

"You find the answer yourself. You are smart, aren't you?" Dea was really upset she Pikir soul not hide it anymore. Surya could see that.

"Oh' my wife is angry now," Surya teased her.

"Since I woke up as a matter of fact,"

The car pulled over the side street. It was still quiet morning.

"What should I do to make her not angry to me anymore?"

"Think it yourself," Dea replied curtly.

Surya stared at her. She was really thinking. It was pretty complicated so that her eyebrows were taunted. She finally opened the door but then she remembered one thing, she had to say good bye to him even though he was quite annoying.

She pulled his hand and placed it to her cheek.

"Is it your menstruation syndrome that makes you get upset easily?" Those words stopped her from opening the car door.

"Give me a break! How can you think that far?" She was stunned to that answer Sury a could not hide it this time.

"Hendra said it is very much influencing women's mood in certain dates. He always gives some notifications on those dates," Surya spoke seriously.

"OMG…You guys are really abnormal!" She took a deep breath, blew it hard out of annoyance. "Leave it!" She sighed, gave up.

Her hand touched the door knob and about to press it opened but another hand caught that hand and turned her body around. The next moment, he put his lips on her lips. Dea's eyes wide opened in surprised, after five days he finally could overcome his awkwardness and nervousness.

"Hendra told me the best way to soften women's heart was though hugging and kissing," he was kissing and hugging her

"You should also ask how to control yourself from the habits of tidying things at home too much," she finally told him the source of her ill feeling to her husband.

"My annoying boss highly cares for details," The common problems for anyone who has limited social circle although Surya definitely had many colleagues and acquaintances. Unfortunately, his introversion tends to think that he has one or two persons closed to him. Surya always narrates one best friend, Mahendra.

"But your boss at home doesn't like that," Those words were finally able to break the ice of that serious man, he broke into laughter when his wife mentioned she was the boss at home.

Surya let his hug loose, and the next moment he locked that girl's face in his dark eyes.

"Don't forget to ask your boss at the office how to start a romance with your woman," The words were just coming out of her mouth without control. For her, it was not the woman started such adult scenes so she expected her husband to be braver.

"Hmmm…for that issue….I…I know it already. I just need….need to overcome my nervousness with my boss at home." He blinked his eyes several times, his face was blushed. And Dea could feel the hands hugging her body were nervous now.

He turned away. Seeing how hard her husband was trying to neutralize himself facing new things, such as the presence of a woman n his life, Dea understood his feeling. She touched his cheeks softly.

Surya ever told her that he had never had a girl friend in his life. The women closed to him were his mother and his younger sisters. .

So she decided to fight against her own awkwardness. She moved slowly to kiss his lips and then crushed them. She started it off, but in the end it would always be the man dominated the adult scenes they were trying to build.

"One, two," the eyes of that blue eyed man staring at the shirt Aruna left unbuttoned.

He put down his notebook from his hands on the dining table, after in awhile waiting for her bathing, to have breakfast together. He frowned looking at his wife sitting in front of him. He disliked the way she dressed up this time.

"Why?? Anything wrong?" She was playing dumb.

"Why don't you wear your T-shirt with that colorful outer?" he stared at her.

"This is my type of fashion now," Aruna tied her hair pony tail in a seducing way for Mahendra.

"Button up your shirt now!!"

"I don't want to!"
