COREY'S POV:-
The last thing that I remember is fighting against that Higher God before I heard a particular sentence from the Queen of the Mermaids and then I blacked out.

'Huh?! What's with those sounds?' I hear a series of explosions ringing from a distance. I try to wake up but my muscles feel sore, as if someone stabbed me with a dozen pins at once. Even though it was hurting, I still tried to get up and then face forward, only to fall down again. My head hurts terribly and the world seems to spin, making me feel nauseous.
After a few moments of concentration and deep breaths, my head gains back its momentum and things become more and more apparent.
As the vision was being cleared, I found a red-haired lady standing in front of me and holding some creature from reaching me. At that scene, my eyes open up wide in shock and I observe the scene with much more clarity.
