"No, not at all." She chuckled, and Adrik, still unable to believe it, crinkled his brow. "If you didn't, then why did you always hate it so much when I touched, hugged, or talked to you?" He asked, quite confused, and a low sigh fled from her nose. "Well... it's just that I had quite a dislike for all men at that time because of what I was going through. And given the fact that I was sold to you, I had thought that you were a bad person." She sighed yet again, and Adrik reached out his hand to gently graze her cheek. "It's okay." He smiled at her, and Leia's face, which had changed to a cynical one, brightened up. "Happy birthday Adrik. I love you very much." She nuzzled his hand and Adrik stood up from the chair, pulling her up with him.
He moved closer to her and tugged her in for a very tight hug. "I love you more than anything, little wife." He gently brushed her hair with his hand, and Leia wrapped her arms around him. "This was perfect."
