A wide living room with a long diamond chandelier hanging on the ceiling that emitted a luminous light came into view the moment they stepped into the house. In the middle were two long sofas facing each other with a glass table in-between. In the end, there stood long, wide stairs that led upstairs.
Adrik's eyes glanced around, and with his hands shoved into his pocket, he walked towards the stairs. He had just gotten close and was about to place his right foot on the first step when a butler scurried towards him and stood in front of him, preventing him from moving forward.
"I am sorry, sir, but you cannot move any further." The butler said and lowered his back. "Please allow me to make your presence known to my master first."
