Adrik's tears slipped from his eyes and fell on Ileus' face. He tightly hugged him and caressed his hair, unable to accept that his brother was gone. "Ileus... please don't go. Please come back," he pleaded, and hugged him even more tightly.
Alex stood still, unable to utter a word. He was feeling hurt too because he used to serve Ileus before he switched to Adrik. He may not have treated him well, but he wouldn't say that he never protected him during dangerous times.
A deep sigh exited his nose and he knelt down beside Adrik. "Supreme Alpha-"
"Alex, I swear I didn't mean to. It was a mistake! I didn't mean to, I-"
"Adrik..." Leia, who saw the state he was in, called his name, and he turned to look at her with drops of tears falling from his eyes. "Little wife, I-"
