Finally making it back on land, Adrik and Alex hopped out of the ocean and took a long deep breath.
"I feel so cold!" Alex shivered as he said it and turned around to see Alesea still inside the water, staring at them.
"I need clothes." She cleared her throat, and as though recalling, Alex rushed back to the spot where he parked the car and pulled the door open. He grabbed the sets of clothes he had left inside and rushed back to her. "Here you go," he said as he tossed it to her, and she dove back deeper, only to emerge a few minutes later in new clothes, but wet like theirs.
They strolled back to the car and got in, then reversed and drove off, making their way towards the apartment they had recently rented. They arrived there in four hours and settled in, quickly changing into new clean clothing.
