(One week later)
The car finally stopped after a one-week journey, and Adrik glanced around, a bit of a frown on his face. "Where are we?" He turned to Alex and inquired, and Alex turned around to look at him. "Supreme Alpha, we can't return to the mansion yet. His majesty definitely has people watching, and if we return, there will be problems. I am sure he must have figured out that you're not dead yet, so we need to be careful. I already got an apartment rented for us to stay in, and tomorrow I will move out to see how things are around the pack. Once I am done, we will move to see your Luna." he replied, and understanding the point of what he said, he slightly nodded his head.
Even though he might not have regained his memory, Alex had already briefed him on everything that happened while they were returning, so he was being extra careful. He let out a low breath and interlocked his hands. "Alright then, let's move."
