Leia lay down on the ground on her back and peered at the sky, which was becoming brighter as the early morning sun rose into the sky. She gazed at the sun and slowly shut her eyes as she took a deep breath. 'Mum, I did it. I... ended it all. We are finally free!' A smile formed on her lips as the image of her mother emerged in her mind.
She blinked her eyes open but instantly jerked back in tension upon seeing her mother's silhouette standing before her with the most beautiful smile on her lips and her long hair, which was blue now instead of its normal black color.
"Mu-mum..." Her eyes widened as she didn't know whether she was hallucinating or actually seeing her.
"Come, Lei Lei." Her mother called her by that one nickname she hadn't heard, in a long time. No one except her mum calls her that.
