It could have been the voice of a seductress, or perhaps it was the lilting call of a siren, a temptress cloaked in mystery, her voice woven with magic designed to ensnare me, to consume me whole in the shadows of my own fantasies.
Irresistibly drawn, I yearned to glimpse the owner of that enchanting murmur. Yet, as my heart quickened and I turned to behold her, the world around us shifted-a dream morphing at the whim of desire.
Darkness enveloped me, a soft, velvety blackness where my vision blurred and senses heightened, as I lay vulnerable.
