"Your Highness? Are you there? May I come in?"
"Ah! Cande!"
Startled by Cande's sudden voice, I hurriedly closed the book and turned towards the door of my library while standing up from the chair.
"C-Come in."
Cande entered the library, receiving my permission.
"My goodness! You've got dark circles under your eyes. Did you not sleep yesterday?"
"Ah… Right. I found an interesting book and didn't realize how time passed by while reading it."
I said with a smile.
"An-Anyways, prepare a warm bath for me."
Without letting her chance to speak, I ordered Cande.
"Yes. Right away, Your Highness."
Bowing, Cande got out of the library.
As I was left alone in the library, I turned towards the table and looked at the book with a gorgeous black cover.
"How marvellous!"
