Lu Han came out of the bathroom when he saw the scene. He saw Guan Tong in front of him and had her back facing him. Her smooth fair skin and black hair that flowed like a river made her look even more beautiful with a graceful body. Any man would lust after Guan Tong if they were to see her like this. However, Lu Han's eyes were piercing. As he saw her from behind, it was more apparent how much Guan Tong resembled that woman.
Guan Tong heard the noise behind her. 'Oh no! Did Lu Han come out already?' She thought.
"Hey, you! Why did you come in just like that?" Guan Tong turned her head and quickly grabbed her clothes to cover herself. Lu Han's eyes dimmed. Guan Tong was not the woman that he saw.
"This is my room, and I can't just come back in when I want?" Lu Han sarcastically asked as he walked toward Guan Tong.
"Don't you dare come any closer!" Guan Tong retreated.
Lu Han's lips curled into a smile as he glanced at Guan Tong without blinking an eye. Guan Tong heaved a sigh of relief. Then, she suddenly realized that Lu Han was looking down on her and teasing her.
"Are we going to visit our elders next?" Guan Tong asked as she quickly put on her clothes.
"Let's go eat first." Lu Han raised his eyebrows and replied. This girl had carefully thought of a way to evade him.
"Oh, alright." Guan Tong replied.
"Uncle Tang!" Lu Han called out his butler as he looked up and down Guan Tong's clothes and wondered where she got those tattered garments. Guan Tong lowered her head and looked at herself as she questioned what was wrong with her clothes. She washed them a few days ago, and they were clean.
"Young Master." Uncle Tang walked in and was surprised to see Guan Tong standing there.
"Madam." Uncle Tang greeted politely.
Guan Tong understood why Uncle Tang was so surprised. The four brides who had married in the past died on their first day. However, Guan Tong was standing there, alive and well.
"Get a new set of clothes for Madam." Lu Han ordered his butler.
Uncle Tang was shocked when he heard this. The bride would not be around for half a day in the past. Not only was this girl alive, but she had also stayed with the Young Master for a whole night. Could it be that this girl had something special about her?
"Yes, it was my negligence. Please don't take offense, Madam." Uncle Tang apologized.
"It's fine." Guan Tong felt that her clothes were already good enough, but if Lu Han wanted to change, then it was his choice.
Not long after, Uncle Tang brought over an elaborate dress. Guan Tong's eyes lit up. All women liked beautiful things, and she was no exception. She saw that the dress was gorgeous. It was an azure-colored dress with embroidered patterns and one exquisite little chunk of diamond that hung from its side.
"Try it on." Lu Han did not know why but he had a hunch that Guan Tong would look great in the dress that Uncle Tang had brought over.
As Lu Han expected, Guan Tong changed and came out in that dress. It was more than enough for anyone who would see her gasp in admiration. The azure color on the dress had made Guan Tong's skin bright and glow, except for her face that was now looking like a blood-sucking succubus.
"Let's go then." Lu Han said calmly and walked out.
Guan Tong wasn't afraid that Lu Han was cold toward her. She was more scared if he were to be as passionate as fire. Uncle Tang was surprised. Usually, the Young Master would not talk to anyone. Uncle Tang could not help but look at Guan Tong a few more times. It seemed that this girl indeed had something special about her.
This was the first time Guan Tong walked out of the room in more than a month. She felt that she came out a stronger person, spent all those time cooped up inside a room, and had remained her sanity.
Guan Tong already knew that this place was beautiful, as she saw from outside the window in her chamber before. She recalled seeing an island with a growing patch of lavender close to it. The blue and the purple color echoed each other, which gave the illusion that the place was settled somewhere in heaven.
However, as Guan Tong walked out and saw more, she realized that what she saw through the window was only the tip of the iceberg. There were hundreds of miles of lavender. The scene was utterly breathtaking to her. As Guan Tong followed Lu Han to another castle, a row of security guards operated the castle's gate.
"Young Master. Madam." Guan Tong took a deep breath. She had to get used to people calling her this way.
"Wait here." Lu Han ordered.
"Oh." Guan Tong was arranged to sit at the dining table. She couldn't help but sigh at the luxury of being a wealthy capitalist. Even the meals that she was having were incredibly decadent.
Uncle Tang followed Lu Han to another room.
"Have you found out what I asked you to investigate?" Lu Han asked.
"Yes. Madam, she's Lin Fei's cousin. Her name is Guan Tong. The Lin family appears to be very cautious, but the people I sent still managed to find out." Uncle Tang replied confidently.
Lu Han's expression turned cold. Although it wasn't his interest to get married, the Lin family dared lie to him. Perhaps they got bored of being alive.
"What else?" Lu Han was most concerned about another matter.
"I haven't found out about that yet, but I will do my best to dig deeper." Uncle Tang said.
"Trying is not enough. I want a definite answer." Lu Han's eyes turned cold.
The woman that night made Lu Han absent-minded. He wanted to find out who she was, the woman who made him lose control of himself. As he thought of this, Lu Han's gaze gradually became gentle.
"Yes, I understand your concern and would do my best to investigate." Uncle Tang reassured Lu Han regarding the ongoing investigation on Guan Tong.
"Alright, you may leave." Lu Han quietly dismissed Uncle Tang.
Uncle Tang heaved a sigh of relief and quickly ordered the servants to prepare food. Lu Han came in and walked to Guan Tong's side, but she did not notice him. No one knew what he was thinking. Lu Han stared down Guan Tong's neck that was as graceful as a swan's neck, for a moment. Why were these two women so similar? For a moment, he fell into a state of confusion.
