Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven

Greg's face is between my thighs, kissing inside of me. I feel his tongue wriggling and his lips opening and closing as if he's drinking me. His hands are holding my legs open with such force, I cannot crush his head if I wanted to. I gasp as he brings his left hand toward his face and uses his fingers inside me, massaging until I'm moaning for more. My body moves with his hand until I see the lights dancing above me, earning for more.

"Greg," I moan, "please." I'm not sure what it is I'm pleading for, except that I want more of him. His body has been tantalizing me since this morning.

"What about what you said," he mumbles in my ear as his fingers massage me deeper causing me to moan louder.

"I don't care what I said before. I'm saying it now that matters. Please, Greg." My hands come up around his neck, but his hands come up and flip me facedown bringing my hips up in the air.

"Don't move," as he takes off his cover. His warm hands grab my hips as he rams into me in a single thrust. I gasp and lower my head to the pillow. He thrusts another time, and I groan with him.

"Is this what you wanted," he grunts as he thrusts again. "Or is it what your body wanted."

I barely muster up a coherent word. "Yes!" I wasn't sure what I truly wanted. All I knew was the euphoric feeling of bliss. My body reached a pinnacle moment and the next thing I realized was that I was staring at darkness.

. . .

I wake up to darkness, my body spent and naked. I feel a large, strong arm over my chest, all I am able to see in the darkness is the bright little lights over my head. I squint my eyes to try and see what is making the little lights in such a dark area. It could be some kind of magic that makes the lights sparkle at night.

"They're little cocoons that light up," says Greg. I look back to him and he's watching me. "They were supposed to hatch in the water but since they're not in water, they tend to shine only at night."

"What do they become when they hatch in the water?"

"I've never seen them hatch before. But they are nice to look at."

"Do you not like being in the darkness?"

"Who would like being in darkness, when there is so much life in the light."

"There's life everywhere, whether its day or night." I look back at him and realize we are having a calm conversation with just the two of us. My mind brings me back to our agreement.

"I'm sorry I took advantage of you," I told him. "My mind was not in a good place, and I realize I used you in the most inhumane way possible."

Greg starts laughing. "Why are you laughing at me?"

"Are you sure you were the one who used me?" He asked as he got up and stretched. "To be very honest with you Minerva, I haven't laid with a woman for over 3-years, so I actually took advantage of you and the situation."

"Oh, so I'm a situation now?" I smirk at the thought of him not being with anyone for a long time.

"Yes! Technically you my pregnant mate with another man's child. I would label you as a situation." He leans over me as if he were trying to challenge me.

"He was supposed to be my mate until you killed him!"

"He died in a duel, he died with honor and for his pack!"

"You murdered him in front of me! How am I not supposed to react?"

"Not the way you were with me mere minutes ago," he snapped back.

"Which is why I apologized to begin with, but since you wanna make it look like this is all your fault, then so be it. You are a big problem to me," I cross my arms, without realizing myself, I am also still naked.

Greg looks at me as if I stabbed him with my words. Good, I hope he feels very horrible at the moment. I put on my clothes and try to fix my hair. With my back towards Greg, I feel him come behind me to help me with my hair.

"I noticed the women from the tribe went off with you in the woods, was it nice?"

"To be honest, it was my first time being with that many women," I mumbled as I try to focus on my hair. "Were all those women taken by your tribe?"

"Not entirely, most of them were traded for goods from their other tribes."

"So... they are slaves," I stated.

"In a way, yes. But we don't treat them as slaves. You are not like the other women."

"I am hardly a woman. I was raised by my father; my mother was taken at an early age and all I remember was her telling me to stay up in a tree." A tear escapes my eye as I continue to focus on my hair. "If she were here right now, I'd ask her what I should do in this situation. I'm terrified and pregnant in a strange place with different customs. What should I do, Greg?"

"I think you should get to know me better and try to bond with the women a bit more, that was our deal."

"I understand." I stand up and turn towards Greg, " but here's another rule between us. No more sex between us. I don't like you at all and I don't find you attractive."

"Agreed. I have no love for you." We shook hands once again and we finally went to sleep.
