It was a cold autumn day. I woke up, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and got dressed. I had buttered toast and made scrambled eggs for breakfast. I noticed there was a light sprinkle outside so I brought an umbrella just in case. The bus ride into the city is over an hour, so as usual I brought my earbuds and portable charging bank. The bus ticket costs $3.50. I hand the driver a $5 bill. "You can keep the extra," I tell him.
"Thank you," he replies. I sit near the back left. There's less people than usual today. I counted 11. I notice a woman with fair skin, blue eyes, and long black hair wearing a purple and white dress with frilly edges. As I passed her we locked eyes. It couldn't have been longer than 3 seconds, but it felt like an eternity. She gave off an eerie and wicked vibe despite her innocent looking appearance. A shiver went down my spine as I broke eye contact and sat in my seat. I turn around and look at where she was sitting and realize she's disappeared. I search the rest of the seats with my eyes, and see that she's not in any of them. "Creepy," I shudder.
I put my earbuds in and pressed play on my playlist. I rested my head on the window, I could feel the frigidness of the outside on my skin. As the bus started moving, I slowly drifted away…
