Yulan tried to remain calm. The dining table was clouded by Li Lian and Yang Mi's talks. She was pissed up with his acting. Many things went gone wrong between them, instead of apologizing, he was pretending not to know her. This hurt her a lot.
She took the fork on table with the aim to chop his hands with it but her love for him once again, conquered anger. The smile that appeared on his face gave room to hers.
"Why are you quiet , Yulan?" Ah lam asked , serving more food to them. She wanted Yulan to feel comfortable around Li Lian too.
"Nothing aunt" she answered in a low tone. The two people across the table noticed her silence.
"I am sorry, Yulan. My big brother took all my attention away" Yang Mi apologized.
"No problem. I understand" Yulan drank from the cup beside her plate.
"Where are you from ?" Li Lian asked her. From his face , the question seemed harmless but she knew it wasn't.
