Li Lian picked the phone on the desk and dialed Ah Lam's number. He knew she was worried about him. If there was someone who cared about him in this world apart from his family. It's was his aunt. She could go to any length to make him happy. Ever since her son died, he made sure that she didn't feel his absence.
"Li Lian? Are you there?" Ah Lam's voice came from the other side.
"Good morning aunt , I hope you slept well last night?"
"No. I was worried about you . How are you doing this morning?" She asked with a tone that told him that she barely slept that last night.
"Yes aunt. I am fine. Don't worry about me" He told her. "You can come over to the office let's talk. I miss talking to you."
"If that is what you want I will be on my way then. Bye" she said, ending the call.
Li Lian wondered where she was rushing to!
He rang the bell that was on the desk. It's was for his secretary. As soon as she hears it, she would come to him.
Zhi Ruo walked in to the office immediately with her head bowed, which was awkward. She respected him a lot but it seemed something was wrong with her.
What was she hiding?
"I am here Zhixing Guan."
"What is wrong with you? I don't like the way you look. What will my workers think?"
Zhi Ruo swallowed hard before apologizing. It's wasn't her fault that she fell in love with her boss. He was every woman's choice. "I am sorry boss. I am fine."
"If you say so" Li Lian said, giving her a file. "Take them to the marketing department."
Zhi Ruo received the file from the boss and left the office. Tears started forming in her eyes. He was so closed to her yet he could not hear her heart beating for him.
Her uncle managed to secure a job for her here. If though she knew that it's was going to be difficult working for him. A man who did not see her as a beautiful woman!

Chu Hua finished dressing up at eight- thirty. She grabbed her bag and made her way down stairs. Her mood changed as soon as she saw Li Qin in the living room.
She looked around no one was there. It's was an opportunity to deal with her spoilt sister in law. "Qin, get me a glass of water."
No answer. Li Qin was watching her favorite program. She did not even look at Chu Hua when she came down stairs. To make it funny, she sent her to get a cup of water, when they were many servants in the house.
"I am talking to you, Qin" Chu Hua screamed, making Muqin to come downstairs.
"What happened Chu Hua?" She asked, looking at her daughter in-law who just screamed. There was no sign of anyone who was hurt. Li Qin was watching the TV comfortably.
"Muqin, I am sorry to disturb you with my screams" Chu Hua quickly apologized. If there was something she likes about her mother in-law was that the old woman loved humility. " I was getting late for work, I had no choice than to tell Li Qin to get me a cup of water but she insulted me. I …"
"Me?" Li Qin's attention was finally shifted. She stood up and came to where they were. With her loud voice she began to question Chu Hua. "When did I insult you? If you have a problem with me, you should come and comfort me of it. Don't .."
"Keep quiet Li Qin" Muqin said, angrily. She hardly get angry with her step daughter because she saw her as her last child instead of Li Lian. Lately, she noticed that Li Qin talks back at Chu Hua. "Don't you know she is your elder? Chu Hua is your brother's wife. Learn to respect her please."
Li Qin looked at Muqin's face, she was hurt and angry. Instead of arguing who was right between them, she went ahead to apologized. "I am sorry Muqin. Forgive me Chu Hua."
Muqin smiled at her. She was glad that Li Qin did not argue about it. "Now, go and get her the water. She is late for work."
Li Qin looked at her sister in-law, she was making faces at her when Muqin was not looking.
She went in to the kitchen with insults in her throat. It's was high time she called her elder sister to come and take over the house. As a daughter of the Lis, she was supposed to be respected and loved my Chu Hua.
But it seemed like Chu Hua had decided to make life difficult for her by turning her family against her. There was a time when she had a crush from school.
Li Qin told her about it. They were supposed to keep it a secret but Chu Hua went ahead to tell everyone in the house. Li Lian was very angry.
She was grounded and was taken to school by bodyguards. They followed her every where.
Since that day , Li Qin began to hate Chu Hua. She wanted her brother to divorce her.
