The Raven prince, Ladislaus Corvinus Hunyadi. Had long been seen as the future of the Carpathian Empire, smart, brave, silver tongue, you can use all words to praise him.
He led the Carpathian army across the Meridian Sea and regained lost territories of the empire until a cruel coup against his father happened when he was in Hiberia.
"Even after the prince left that land, those Hiberian still continued fighting each other, the Legitimists didn't even find the princess they supported." Bloodhound didn't understand the intention of the Hiberia civil war, they didn't even know the person they were supporting was alive.
"Who knows, maybe the princess of Hiberia was in the court of the fatherland?" Vaterian smiled and made a joke.
"Nice joke but not enough to let me laugh, find a better one next time." Bloodhound rubs his shoulder with his hand, the pain from the previous fight hasn't faded away.
"Even if the princess wanted to run away she chose a better country, who wanted to run through the Wether pass from Hiberia just to arrive in a poor country. The Carpathian Empire, the Frontier Papacy, either of them was a better choice." Bloodhound sneered and laid down the mug on the table.
"Maybe we should find ourselves a place to have a further conversation? I'm afraid there might be too many people here."
"Sure, there was an Inn nearby, the owner might not be the most honourable person, but he provided decent service."
"You seem like you didn't care about the defeat?" Asked Igor.
"I've been defeated a lot of times before, little boy, but never dead. Just accept it and move on." Bloodhound tidy up his cloth and moved forward, the dusty cloth didn't seem to fit his position.
"This way." Bloodhound put on his hat and walked out, following the Landsknecht's fashions by sticking some feather on his hat, hoping to look more 'Civilized'. Although depending on how the city council treated them, these Hellandic fighters were merely accepted by the Tharcian.
"Igor, start moving." Vaterian followed the steps of the man while he saw Igor finishing his cider and asking for a takeaway on the unfinished meal.
"Fine…" Answered Igor.

The three men arrived at an Inn, the wooden wall was already been rotten and hardly supported the entire structure.
"This is the 'decent' Inn you talked about? It didn't decent enough for me."
"Don't be picky, young prince. Use your tiny walnut to think about would any adventurer or caravan will want to stay in the poorest area in this city? It's already a miracle that the Inn could survive until now." Bloodhound disagreed with Vaterian's opinion and gave him the reason behind it.
"Have you ever thought about developing this area? It should be a good idea as here was the first place most people saw when they arrive here."
"Like Carolina? Making these people rich and harming the Tharcian's Incomes? I'm better off just maintaining the basic order and having my small income." Bloodhound did not mind telling Vaterian about this open secret.
"Oh, I forget you didn't know who Carolina was. She was the former captain of the Golden door (Geldtur) area, which now belongs to me. She maintained to order well and develop this area. That's the reason why she was being kicked out from here and reassign to Weihen, the part furthest away from the city centre. I don't want to be the next." Bloodhound saw the teenager's confusion and explained it to him.
"The city council made the decision?"
"Yes sure, she was lucky enough that the Raven Prince used his influence to convince the city council from firing her. Otherwise, I probably could enjoy her in the Sirens bay." Vaterian knit his brown after hearing it, despite he wasn't a person with high morality he still hard to accept such an insult.
"Depending on your words, she sounds gorgeous, is it?"
"Definitely, she might be the most beautiful virgin you could find in this city, as long as she is not being so strict and boring. But I will still like to spend a night with her." Bloodhound grinned as he was talking about the lady. From his words, Vaterian could guess the lady was also fought in the Hiberian succession war.
The owner came out and saw the three people were standing outside of his Inn, he shouted, "Get in or Fuck off from my doorsteps!... Mannfred!? What wind blew you to my Inn? Sorry for my impoliteness, I thought it was those thugs coming again. Get in, and I prepared a warm bath for you."
The rapid change of the attitude of the owner made Igor laugh. Bloodhound, or Mannfred ignored it and talked with the owner.
"Bernhard, I bring you some customer. I think you will want to prepare the bath for them instead of me." Bloodhound looked at the teenagers and told the owner, Bernhard.
"Pfff, who cared about them, just another person run away from their overlord and seeking shelter. You already bring a lot of people here, neither of them pays me the full amount of money and all of them left without any notice." Bernhard sounded like he was not willing to let them stay, but his hand was doing the opposite thing.
"Here, keep it until you left here. I will calculate the fees when you left this place, just remember don't behave like your predecessor leaving without giving any notice." The owner tore down the paper on his booklet and passed it to Igor.
"So did we get the room or not?" Vaterian grinned and stared at Bernhard, who turned his head away.
"Not until I died." Said the owner.
"Yeah, Not losing the room until Bernhard died." Mannfred laughed loudly. Looking at the owner's face turning red, Vaterian and Igor also laughed.
