"Hey."
"Hm?" he responded, eyes still closed.
Miso unlaced her fingers, bringing one hand to rest on his shoulder while the other moved to rest against his cheek, thumb brushing over the expanse of his reddened skin.
"Open your eyes," she said softly and he shook his head. "Please?"
Miso's request came out so sweetly, he couldn't help but oblige, though his bottom lip remained in the confined of his upper teeth in an attempt to prevent his smile from getting too wide. Miso smiled and leaned forward, pressing your forehead against his.
It was a cute moment for the two of them.
The whole place was completely silent, though the rain hadn't stopped at all. but in that moment, neither of you could hear anything besides each other's soft breaths, and the slight thrumming of your own hearts.
"Chris?" Miso called out in a hushed voice, not wanting to disrupt the comfortable silence.
"Hm?" he answered. "What is it?"
"I love you."
