"You are willing to keep me close to you, even though I can kill you. But, you can't have me with you because of that mere stupid feeling?" Zuri was upset with the way Chaos treated her.
Chaos shook his head, there was pain in the way he answered her question. "I would rather have you kill me than be resented by you."
He wouldn't be able to stand it. It was only for a split second, but it was enough to make Chaos realize what kind of price that he made Zuri pay by asking her to do this job.
"Don't be ridiculous, Chaos," Zuri growled. If she could, she would have clawed his face to get rid of that look. She didn't like it when he looked like this, this made her uncomfortable.
Chaos didn't actually need to bother, this was her decision and she intended to stick with it until the end.
