Colton, the gamma of this Shadow Moon pack, stood still in the middle of the room, with the baby that was crying at the top of her lungs in his arms. Her little face turned red from all the crying and she was inconsolable.
On the other hand, Liam needed a few more moments to straighten up his mind, as he was still in disbelief that his daughter was still alive. He saw and felt it himself that the baby was no longer breathing. Her body had turned cold when he held her.

Liam took a step forward. He looked doubtful and reluctant. Half of his heart already accepted that his son's twin had died, but the other half wanted his daughter to be alive.
