"Actually, there was a storm that lasted for three days after the mating ceremony." Liam told Zuri as he closed the curtain, so the girl could stop staring at the gloomy sky, it was so depressing to say the least.
"A storm," Zuri repeated the words.
Liam was not sure whether it was a simple confirmation, or she was asking a question. "Yes, a storm that lasted for three days straight."
Liam dropped the tray on her lap and encouraged her to eat some, as he could see that she was still in so much pain, yet she sucked it all.
"You need to eat."
"I don't feel like eating."
Liam knew that would be her answer, but then he didn't give in. "At least do it as a form of apology to me."
Zuri raised her head and shot him a look, as if she was saying; why should I? Probably, on a normal day, she would frown as well.
