Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

Blair squinted her eyes as the sunlight hit her face through the French doors in their bedroom, she took a deep breath in and stretched her arms above her head. "We don't need to get up," James whispered into the back of her neck. Blair giggled as he pulled her back to him and kissed her shoulder. James slipped his hand under the blankets grabbing her hips and nipped her mark, drawing a moan from Blair.

James loved hearing her moan, he skimmed his fingers down her stomach to her sex and circled her clit ever so gently. Blair closed her eyes, intoxicated by the new sensation as James began to apply pressure to her swelling button. Blair began to sweat as he played her body with ease. She pushed her backside into his rock-hard erection as he continued to circle and rub her clit. "That's it baby, give it to me," he whispered as she squeezed the sheet and opened her mouth, moaning as she climaxed. James grabbed her hip and with one thrust he was inside of her.

Blair's body pulsating around him as she called out his name. He continued thrusting, feeling as if her body was milking him as she continued to spasm. "Oh god, Blair," he called out and bit down on her, mark again, causing her put push back as hard as she could. They stayed there for a few moments, neither wanting to move or be torn away from each other. They would've stayed there all day if there hadn't been a knock on the door. "Stay here, I'll kill whoever it is," James joked. Blair smiled as he kissed her mark, he put on some pants and grabbed a shirt, that he slipped on as he walked down the hall.

"Can I help you, mom?" James asked, opening the door. "I came to ask if next weekend is too soon for Blair's Luna ceremony?" she questioned back. "Blair's still in bed," James answered. "She's not sick, is she?" Maggie asked pushing her way into the house. "No, she's not sick," James replied hanging his head. "Is she depressed? I know it's not easy leaving your family behind," Maggie began. "No mom, she's not depressed either," James interrupted. Maggie looked at James, "Oh… Honey, I'm sorry, I assumed you had already," she began. "Good morning," Blair's cheerful voice called coming down the hall. Maggie turned around, "Good morning, I'm sorry to disturb you," Maggie told her. Blair smiled, her hair in a messy bun, glasses on, wearing a black and white stripped fitted t-shirt and skinny jeans. "No disturbance," Blair assured standing next to James. "Speak for yourself," he whispered.

Maggie smiled a smug smile at James, "I was just wondering if next weekend was too soon for your luna ceremony?" Maggie asked. "Mom, I think she should get used to being around the pack before we do that," James offered. "Oh, of course dear. Maybe in a few months when you've gotten your bearing's," Maggie suggested. "That sounds great," Blair answered. "Wonderful, I'll have it all set up," Maggie replied excited. "Would you like to stay for breakfast?" Blair asked walking into the kitchen. James shook his head at his mom, "Oh I need to get to my brunch meeting," Maggie called. "Maybe tomorrow," Blair replied. "Oh, I would love to have lunch with you tomorrow, I could introduce you to a few of the ladies," Maggie offered, walking past James to meet Blair in the kitchen. "That would be great," Blair replied. "Could you take me to a few shops as well?" Blair asked.

James furrowed his brow and turned around. "Sure, anything in particular?" Maggie asked as James walked into the kitchen. "Some of the walls are a bit spars, I thought maybe a few pieces would be nice," Blair answered. Maggie smiled, "I told him the same thing," Maggie whispered. Blair smiled, "Alright, tomorrow. I'll come by around eleven thirty. Have fun," Maggie told her and headed out. "Bye," James and Blair called as Maggie shut the front door behind her. "You are in clothes," James observed. "Yes, because your mother was here, and I'm hungry," she told him looking through the pantry on the other side of the fridge. "We could make eggs," he suggested.

Blair peeked around the fridge, "Do you not cook?" James asked. "A little," she answered. "Have you made eggs?" He asked. "No," she replied, a little embarrassed. "Ok, get a pan," he said pointing to the cabinet next to the stove. James grabbed the eggs out of the fridge and set them on the island. He put a dollop of butter in the pan and turned on the heat and waited. Once the butter melted, he carefully cracked two eggs into the hot pan, "Can you start the toast?" James asked, turning on the coffee pot. "Sure," Blair said grabbing the bread from the pantry and popping two pieces into the toaster. "Ok, grab an avocado, in the fridge," James ordered as he flipped the eggs.

Blair pulled them out along with some fruit salad in a glass container. James showed Blair how to cut avocados and smash them into toast. He carefully slid the over easy eggs on top as Blair spooned fruit onto the side. "Voila," James joked. They ate and talked, Blair got up to clear the table and put the plates in the sink. "What should we do today?" she asked. James jumped up and walked over to her, "I could think of something," he said grabbing her.

Blair felt like life would be easy now, the danger had past, Simone and the demon were gone. Ben was alpha as he should be, and she was free to live happily ever after. What Blair and everyone else didn't know was that, not all the Simone's mangy members were dead, and not everyone was willing to allow her a happily ever after.
