'He's really foul mouthed' thought Ray with an exasperated look. then he said "Well, I can't trust that you won't harm me now can I?" and he was right. This book was shady with an unknown origin claiming he will help Ray, the perfect description for any dangerous object. Even the most foolish of people won't believe him let alone Ray who didn't trust others that easily.
"Hold up snowy wh-"
"My name is Ray, not snowy white. What does snowy white even mean?" Retorted Ray. "Don't fucking cut me when I'm speaking. Didn't you learn that you stupid shit? Anyway, now let me explain. Whether you believe that I will not harm you or not nothing will change now that I fused with your soul. We are one, you will not be able to get rid of me and I will not be able to harm you. It's a win-win situation." But the book was the one with slight superiority over Ray considering that he was the one who lived inside of his body. That uncomfortable feeling never left Ray's mind and the way he felt that unbearable pain raining over all of his being.
The young boy fell silent thinking of something then asked curiously "And you said I can use you to become stronger, right? How is that?"
Again, the deep voice replied instantly " I can't show you here. Or if you want to destroy the place while using one of my spells, then off you go." His sarcastic voice was laughing at Ray and the boy just shuddered to hear his explanation. 'Enough problems for one day!' he thought.
"Good, you seem to have some thinking abilities. But I will warn you, no one should know about my existence. Neither you nor I will benefit from that, so keep that in your mind. I'm your trump card that you will use to kick some ass." Warned the grimoire with an uncharacteristic serious voice for the first time.
"Fine, I won't tell anyone about my 'trump card'. Your cocky attitude makes my expectations high." Added Ray as he stood up. He was somehow exhausted even though he were sleeping, the fusion with this book took a toll on his mind.
"Hohoho, You might as well make them higher." Laughed the Grimoire while praising itself. No one wants to watch a cocky book laughing like a maniac because of his lame joke and Ray was no exception to that.
'Sigh, what an annoying nook' He shook his head while sighing loudly. This was the first day of them being together and he was already regretting it.

While Ray was having one hell of a nap, unbeknownst to the other two living in this house, they were sitting in the living room talking. They always pass their afternoons talking about different topics and enjoying some pastries and tea. This was an unspoken rule in this household.
"Is he going to be ok grandpa?" Asked Flora with a worry. Ray was still grieving about his parents' death, doing anything that will harm him is not off the chart. An emotionally unstable person can do things that he would've not tolerated himself. Self-harming and suicidal thoughts could invade his mind that is defenceless and brainwash him into doing those horrible things.
"hooh, You seem really interested in that fellow. I've never seen you do that before." teased Galdof with a smug face. Flora felt slightly shy but still answered "I honestly don't know. the moment I saw him, I felt like I met him before. No, I felt like we've known each other for a long time. Somehow, even when I talked to him I feel totally comfortable and didn't feel repulsed." The smile on Galdof's face disappeared and a serious look took place. Anyone would've passed that as nothing, but the old man seemed to think of whole other possibilities. Meeting before? Not possible if you think about it. Ray was from the holy kingdom and for Flora, she was from the lower realms. Two people from different worlds and different lives could've not met before, right?
As for what that is. Only that old man knew. His mind wandered into some ideas that people from this world wouldn't know about. Then to not make his Granddaughter worry. He just smiled and didn't persuade the topic anymore.
