Chapter 1 - Chapter One.

Thud, thud, thud, thud.

The sound of footsteps as the girl dressed in black was running away from a room. The shrill shriek of the alarms that was set off blared as the sound bounced off the metal walls. A not so distant yell of "GET HER!" was heard making the girl stop in her tracks near a janitor's closet, and a meeting room, the hall she was in currently had multiple artworks such as sculptures. The girl huffed, hands on her knees as she looked at one of the sculptures, it was a bit taller than herself. The girl heard a duo of voices around the corner behind her. The girl cursed under her breath as she quickly moved behind the sculpture and posed as it was as she heard the duo come closer.

"Shit, where'd she go?" The girl heard one of the voices say, she got to see the two that were after her from a gap from the sculpture she was behind. They looked related in some way, they had the same eyes, same face shape.  "How could you tell it was a girl?" The smaller one that had light brown skin and brown eyes that matched the other asked the black-haired girl. The brown-eyed girl growled and smacked the younger one on the head, "she's been here before, Bonnie. Come on now, she could be near an exit by now" She said before taking off into another direction in front of her. "H-hey don't leave me alone Sky!" Bonnie called out running after Sky.

The girl waited until she could no longer hear their footsteps. The girl smiled, basking in her little victory in hiding out like she'd done at her high school so many times. The girl took a second to fix her outfit and mask to make sure it concluded her identity. The girl took a deep breath before heading the other way the duo had taken. There was still work to be done.
