Chapter 33- Panic!
*So sorry everyone my dog got sick and I had to take care of that. I am back on my three days a week schedule now.*

On my way back to the group I couldn't help but think about that BASTARD KING and how he was completely different from the last time that I saw him.
How had he changed so much? What kind of black magic did he use? And what happened to the innocent civilians? These were just some of the questions that were racing through my mind.
I didn't know what to do about that man or beast now. My mind was racing a million miles a minute and my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest.
My feet got clammy and my vision blurry. My footing became unstable, I had to lean against the wall for support so I didn't fall over.
My entire world was coming back to haunt me, and I wanted nothing to do with it anymore. My heart kept beating like it was going to jump out of my chest. I knew that this was partially my fault, that he was still alive.
I should have killed that stupid King and all those monsters before I came back to my world. I just wanted to be home so bad that I took the first opportunity to do so. Leaving way too many loose ends.
Taking a few extra minutes to myself to steady my heartbeat and gather my thoughts.
I got up and continued down the long hallway to the rest of the UISF soldiers. I needed to give my report so they knew what to expect and Olivia could start her search for him. With how demented he seems now, he will probably make a scene or leave a trail of bodies that we can follow.
A sinister smile formed on my lips as I thought about ripping his head off and eating it. I would make sure to end his life with my own hands.
I made it back to the group and gave my report about the monster the demon lord cultists summoned, which shocked and scared most of the men. I couldn't blame them for the monsters appearance and the power was disturbing to say the least. I could tell from a glance that the King was super strong.
I called Olivia as well to let her know what we were dealing with. She was not happy to say the least, but she said she was going to have her men start a search for the monster.
After I helped cleanup the scene I left the demon lord cultists base and just walked the streets of Los Angeles. Trying to think of my next steps and how to proceed.
It was midnight and the only people that were the party goers were just now leaving the clubs and the homeless of which there were a lot.
The stink of the homeless and fresh puke filled the air, it was almost akin to the smell of the slums back in the other world. Only this smell was a little more bearable.
The smell of weed and cigarettes wafted in the afterglow. My mind couldn't focus still so I decided to head to a bar to get a drink. Take the edge off a bit.
After walking for a bit more I came across a bar called 'The wolf's den' which seemed fitting enough with the moon and wolf mural on the front window.
I headed inside and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was fairly packed and had a live jazz band. What also surprised me was the smell, no one here was a human.
They also seemed to know that I wasn't human as well. It is just my luck that the first bar I walk into is full of aliens and other races.
Not wanting to deal with the other races right now I just smiled, walked over to an empty seat at the bar and sat down.
"Bartender. One neat whiskey please."
A few minutes later the bartender brought me my drink, but he had a weird look on his face. Almost like I wasn't supposed to be here.
Well I probably wasn't if this was a non human bar and a person no one had ever seen before showed up I would be freaked out too. Everyone was staring at me almost like they were waiting for something to happen.
That's when something did happen, from the back of the bar coming out of what looked like the office was a big burly man with long hair tied neatly behind him and a trimmed beard. He had on a nice all black suit that matched his black hair, but his eyes were a piercing bright yellow.
The man made his way over to me, and all the other guests started to whisper to each other. This guy was clearly the owner.
"Excuse me but this is a private party." The man said in a rough voice.
"Oh sorry about that. Do you mind if I finish my drink and then leave." I was trying to be as friendly as possible since I was the one intruding.
When I said that everyone looked at me with shocked expressions. It seemed that no one had ever said no to the boss before.
Things were starting to get more complicated and I was already having a bad day so I chugged my drink.Which in hindsight wasn't a smart thing to do as it burned a bit going down . I slowly got up to not startle any of the guests and made my way to the front door.
That was when a big fat man with an unkempt bushy beard got up from his corner with his full beer mug in hand, blocking the door. The smell of alcohol on his breath was prevalent and he looked to be seriously past his limit.
"Now listen.. here boy. You.. can't talk... to the.. boss... like that." The man said slurring each word.
I looked behind me and realized that everyone else got up as well blocking me in.
"ugh. I just wanted a nice drink." I said as I turned back around to the drunken man.
Right when I turned around the man sucker punched me across the head.
