Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Honor Class Not for Me

I woke up and rushed out to eat my breakfast. I scarfed it down and ran outside. I jumped up and cast flying magic. I flew in the sky and felt free. Something about the air and seeing the world like the birds in the sky was exhilarating.

Upon arrival at the school, I landed to see Christopher and Amelia. "Good morning." I greeted them and followed them to the auditorium. The ceremony to see where you stand in stature was being held there.

One by one everyone was called up to have their mana tested. I was called and headed up. I was very nervous and placed my hand on the orb. it instantly shattered. The crowd laughed, and I smirked. Apparently, the orbs only shatter when someone has no mana.

This is what I wanted. I headed back to my seat and sat down. Christopher walked up to me and shook his head. "I don't know why you are hiding your power, but I am not you. Just be careful. You can't rise in the ranks without showing what you can do." He turned and went back to his seat. I shook me for a sec.

He genuinely cares more than he shows. He is not like you would think a King's son would be. He was a kind person. I just sat and waited for the ceremony to end, and it took forever. Once was finally over a holograph was cast in front of us that informed us of our class. Basic class, this must be the class I get. I then saw a path. I followed it to my class, I guess. It led me out the auditorium, and down this massive hall.

The path felt really far out. Like it was taking me to another country. I followed it for what felt like forever just to exit the campus main building and go to a building that was off in the distance. I looked around and noticed nobody was around. To be extra safe, I did a area search, and nobody was near. I cast body enhancement magic and bolted to the campus.

Being able to break the sound barrier on your two feet is a bit fun. I mean, it is a feeling you can't describe. Like flying, nobody can tell you how it feels. It is one of those things you must feel for yourself. To me, it is exhilarating.

This world itself is amazing. This world has magic and makes all those fantasies you wished were real. I can do anything and everything I want. I am gonna enjoy this world to the fullest, and hope it is as amazing as I wish it to be.

Upon arriving to the building, I walked in to feel the entire class stare me down. Their disgust radiating. I really hope they don't think I am weak. I just didn't think when I went on stage. I feel like a noob. I am an Omnipotent newbie. I have the power to make this world crumble with the snap of a finger, and I act like I am a newbie.

I saw a familiar face and was surprised. "You are probably wondering why I am here?" Amelia smiled. " I can ask you the same. I know you aren't meant to be here. I know how strong you really are. I have the gift to see your true mana level. You are not powerless. To be honest, you have a unnatural amount of mana. Why do you hide?" I looked at her and pondered. I sat down next to her.

"That is a great ability, and it is good for combat. This will allow you to see how much mana a caster has. Does the mana deplete as they use it to? Can you see that to, or is it just their initial mana supply?" I got really intrigued, and she blushed.

"Sorry, nobody has ever been interested in my gift. They say it is useless."

"Who? They are dumb. What happens when they come across a caster, they know little to nothing on, and pick a fight. This could be vital to their victory. You could tell if we will be better off taking out the casters or they can be left alone. This is valuable knowledge on the warzone. That is dumb to say that is useless. Say this kingdom went up against me. You think they could win?"

"Honestly, even if they knew they couldn't. Thanks, I mean that. The fact you see me as a useful person means a lot. Most suck up to me, because I am the kings daughter. Thank you." She hugged me, and then pulled away. "I am sorry." She quickly apologized.

"Don't be. You aren't useless, and don't believe you are useless. You are a vital key to a victory. Knowledge is how wars are won. You have knowledge on the other side, and this can help create a plan to ensure victory. You have that ability for mages mana level. Nobody should think you useless." I smiled. She blushed even more and nodded.

The teacher walked in and looked at everyone. "Welcome to the basic class. Here we will teach you general knowledge on magic, and hopefully activate your true potential. You may even promote to hero class. My name is Mr. Hyferion, and I will be your magic instructor. I can't promise all of you that I can improve all of you. I will try to make you a better you though. First up is magic. What is it?" Mr. Hyferion began to give a long introduction on what magic is, and how we can cast it.

"So, the stronger our image of fire we have the more powerful it can be?" A student behind me asked.

"Exactly, but if you don't have the mana to do so. You won't be able to cast it properly. Your magic is also tied to your emotions, and this can be good or bad. You see if you get too emotional, you can go out of control, and that isn't good. Some of the biggest disasters documented in history are from mages whose magic went out of control. They were able to do unimaginable things, but it was a tragedy. The people around paid for the magic casters rampage. That being said, don't get too emotional. He began to demonstrate magic, and everyone was in awe.

I was excited too. Magic, I mean who doesn't wish they could use magic? The ability to make things out of thin air, cast fire, control the waters, save a life, be indestructible, and protect the ones they love.

My mind went straight to Hannah. I started to remember our past. Hannah, Mark, and me were best friends. Mark was a great guy, but his family treated him poorly. He was a depressed person, but we changed that. We did everything together, and always took him with us, we went to the movies, amusement parks, zoo, and out to eat a lot. We always had each other's back and let nobody bully us. He was a bit stubborn at first, but he opened up.

Hannah was the girl everyone sought after but was not into nobody but me. She like the way I was, and How I always cared more about others than myself. Never saw her as an object, but a friend. She was smart and smoking hot. Her figure made all the guys' drool. Yet she was more than that. She accepted Mark into the trio and was the one to help him first. She was always nice to him, and eve stood up for him. He won't admit she did, but it is okay. She fell for me when I made it a point to really help him, and even got into fights for him. She liked how no matter what I fought for what was right. I even got into it with his parents for what they did to him, and even won the ability to take him into our family. He was a brother, and we were always there for each other.

I don't think he liked it when I started to date Hannah, and deep down I knew he had feelings for her. The fact that i pretended he didn't was on me.

"Mr. Aria!" The teacher shouted, and I snapped out of my backflash. "Will you show us some magic?" He looked at me and smirked.

"You call on me, cause you think I can't cast magic. You are wrong." I raised my hand and cast a massive fireball. Which I held changed to a blue flame and looked at him. His face was in shock, and I chuckled. "You see, at the ceremony. I placed so much magic into the crystal ball at once, it shattered. I did this on purpose. I didn't want honors class due to their stuck-up ideals. Always thinking themselves better, the fact is if a person with true skill and battle prowess came at them. They would buckle in fear."

"Is that so? Why don't you prove it?" A guy who looked like your stereotypical noble snob smirked. I stood up teleported in front of him and smiled. I took off my ring and made my mana visible. He fell over and was filled with terror as I squatted down.

"My point exactly. This is the real world, and you aren't ready for what is to come." I turned around and saw the shocked faces of all my classmates. "I am not here to make you feel less, but to help you with your success for the future. I will never betray you, so make this vow now. We will stand together, and never betray one another." I smirked, because it was the same vow Hannah, Mark, and me made. Though let's hope this one doesn't break.

"That was so awesome! How did you do that? I've never seen that type of magic." An elf male came to me. His eyes gleamed with thirst for knowledge. He seemed really intrigued that I did that. I kinda messed up and made a rookie mistake too. Now they know of my ability, but maybe not. They think him crazy.

"It is teleportation magic. I control to points of space and connect them. I go through them like a door, and where the other point that is connected to is I walk out. It is a magic I created. Sad thing is it is an ability only I can obtain."

"Mr. Aria, I do have a class to tea...." A bell rang announcing the start of the next class. which meant to go to the next classroom. Mine was Gym class. I got a little excited, because I don't know what this class will be like.

I followed the path and walked to what looked like the gladiators of Rome's colosseum. The arena was massive, and maybe bigger than the colosseum in my previous world. I slowly walked forward and took in the talent of the structure.

The fine marble walls, and red drapes that had the school's insignia on it. The very fine detail of the artwork carved into the marble was also appealing to the eye. You could feel the essence of all those who put their hard work into this building.

As I walked in, I could sense the sweat blood and tears that fell into the soil of the ground.

Waiting in the colloseum was the honors class.
