Chapter 75 - Chapter 74

Kai knocked on Wafi's door, before sliding his hands back into his pockets. It was way too cold for someone to stand at someone else's doorstep. And it was a saturday, Kai could be sleeping right now. Baker opened the door, smiling. Kai smiled back. "Hi.." Baker waved shyly. It was cute. Kai waved back. "Hey, Bakery."So, was everyone here? He heard the pitter patter of a dog's footsteps, before a pink pomeranian ran out the door. He runs around Kai's legs, sniffing him. Kai smiles.

Yoshi scoots past Baker to scoop Elysian up, out of breath. "I am sorry about him. Hisoki said we could watch him, but he has a lot to handle.'Yoshi mumbled. So Hisoki wasn't. Baker steps to the side, allowing Kai to walk inside. Wafi's house looked the same, only difference being a short table that has been moved to the living room. Everyone sat on their knees around the table, bowls of ramen in their hands. Kai laughed.

Of course there was food involved, it was Wafi after all.

"I wonder what your parents' reactions are when they see your allowance has been spent solely on food." Kai voiced with amusement, walking over to an empty seat. Wafi rolled his eyes. "This cost only like…. ¥5700." Wafi shrugged. He slid a bowl with a transparent top over to Kai, though the student didn't take it. "What are we doing over here?" Kai questioned, grabbing a pair of wooden chopsticks. Wafi didn't answer, looking down at his steaming bowl of ramen.

"Can we eat first? I didn't have breakfast and I am starving." Wafi begged calmly. Kai looked at him worried. Did something happen? Elysian ran to the table, almost jumping on it if it wasn't for Baker grabbing him. "What did I say about jumping on the table?" Baker lightly scolded, making the entire table laugh. Baker flushed a soft pink, letting go of the dog.

"You were scolding Elysian. I couldn't tell who was cuter." Yoshi smiled, popping a piece of cooked spam into his mouth. Baker lowered his head, slurping up a strand of ramen. Kai hesitantly took the ramen bowl and wooden chopsticks. "You just love embarrassing people, don't you Yoshi?" Kai asked, turning to the boy.

He giggled, laughing. "Yes, I very much do. I used to make you blush so hard when we first met. It was adorable." Yoshi giggled, reaching over to Harley. He steals a piece of fried egg from the boy, Harley lightly rolling his eyes, still with a smile on his face. Wafi shakes his head lightly. "Last time I remembered, it was the other way around. Kai was always embarrassing you." The brown haired boy explained.

Mago rolled his eyes. "You three have known each other for a long time?" Mago asked curiously. Kai smiled, nodding his head. "Yeah. Technically at first it was Wafi and I, but then we met Yoshi and became inseparable." Kai answered. Mago clicked his tongue, cooing. Wafi shakes his head, raising his hand to speak.

"Lies I say, lies. You two totally dated. I won't believe otherwise." Baker looked up. "You guys dated?" Baker voiced abruptly, looking up. Yoshi was quick to shake his head. "No we didn't. Wafi's being a total idiot,"Yoshi assured. They hadn't ever dated. The two have talked about it, sure, but they always agreed not to.

However now Kai thought it could be answered differently.

Harley, who had sat next to the boy, used his chopsticks to pick a piece of spam from Wafi's bowl, stuffing it into his mouth. Wafi coughs, grabbing a napkin. "Why did you do that?" Wafi asked, still coughing into the napkin. Harley turns to look at the boy. "Everything that comes out of your mouth is total bullshit, so I wanted to shut you up." Harley explains, as if it's the most reasonable thing in the world.

Wafi stares at him for a moment, before rolling his eyes. Kai places his bowl back down. "Why are we here, Wafi?" Mago asked, turning to the student. Wafi stared at Mago for a moment, before sighing. "This is it, isn't it." Wafi groaned, placing his bowl of ramen down. Kai frowned for a second, confused. "Are you leaving or something?" Wafi lightly shakes his head, his sandy eyes going from each person in the room to the floor. Something seemed to really be bothering him.

Yoshi frowns. "Is something wrong Wafi?" Wafi sighs, shaking his head. "Well… maybe. Kind of, depends how you look at it." He mutters. Kai hasn't ever seen Wafi so…. Distraught. Out of everyone, he tended to be the one who had everything together. Even when everyone else didn't, including Kai. Why was that suddenly changing? Wafi rubs his face. He turns to Harley.

"Remember what I said when we were watching that dog?" Wafi asked hastily. Harley looked around at the group before at Wafi. He hesitantly nodded. "Yeah…. Why?"

_____

Wafi took a breath. He definitely needed one about now. He stares at Harley with serious eyes. "I kinda lied." He muttered. All the two had done was talk about their feelings, that was it. Harley stared at him, his happy expression drowned by one of sorrow. It hurt Wafi to the core.

"I don't just love you."

The entire room felt quiet, everyone was staring at him. He felt like he was being tested on something he didn't know. What was he supposed to do? He stared down at the floor, like that was his only safe haven. If only the floor could suck him up. That would be pretty amazing right about now. "I love all of you,"He finally looks up. "And not in the boring, brothers thing.

"As in I want to be in a relationship with you guys."

Wafi bitterly laughs, holding his head slightly. He felt like he was being interrogated, like had to tell them everything. He wanted to tell them everything, but something was blocking him from opening his mouth. Yoshi stands up, and at first Wafi thought he was going to walk out, however instead he walks around the table, going to hug Wafi. "That's what you wanted to tell us?" Yoshi asked quietly, as if the others couldn't hear. He shakily nods. The brunette sighed, smiling. "You had us worried for a second." Wafi smiled, feeling someone back hug him.

Kai.

He was still anxious about the lack of responses. He sucked in a breath, quietly thinking for a ment. "So, do you guys feel the same way?" He murmured, looking down at the ground. He never had to deal with this anxiousness before. Everyone who he dated had come up to him, never the other way around. It was worrisome for him, stressful. The entire room was silent, until Mago scoffed quietly. Wafi looked over. The tanned boy had a sweet smile on his face.

"I think all of us are in love with each other."
