Baker didn't know what he was doing. Wafi had given him the bare minimum of details. Hisoki had switched to an alter named Kiki, who was a little kid. He had to get food for him. However, Baker had never babysat or been in a close distance with a child. He understood that it wasn't a real child, but still. So what did Kai buy?
A Happy Meal.
Don't be disappointed in him. He had gotten the girls toy instead of the boy, because the girls had a my little pony stuffed animal. He thought Kiki might like that better. Baker loved children. Loved being around them. Loved hanging out with them, everything. But it was stressful. He didn't want the child to hate him.
Baker knocked lightly on Hisoki's apartment door, before opening it. Not shockingly, it wasn't locked. Mago sat on the couch, with Kiki laying his head on the tanned boy's lap. Baker smiled, but frowned, noticing the sad boy's face. Mago looked up at him and smiled. "Hey." He said simply. Baker placed the happy meal on the counter. He glanced at the tv. Spongebob Squarepants. He smiled.
"Did you turn that on for yourself or Kiki?" Baker teased. Mago rolled his eyes, as the young boy looked up at him. His hand peeked out at Baker to wave, the blond smiled and waved back. He noticed the bunny plushie, and smiled. Wait, didn't Hisoki have a plushie?
"Be right back." Baker said, walking towards the hall. He walked into Hisoki's room, right where he had found it last time. And there it was. The brown bear with stains on the side. The transparent, magenta ribbon is still tied to its neck. Baker lightly picked it up, the worn bear's head slouching to the side.
Baker walked out of the room, stepping into the main room. "Kiki, look what I have." The young boy looked over, his frown turning into a smile. He ran over to Baker, snatching the stuffed animal from him. He squealed lightly, before going to tackle Baker into a smile. "Kiki, is that yours?" Mago asked from the living room. Kiki looked over, skipping to Mago. "Yep! Hisoki kept it!" Kiki smiled.
Wait, that stuffed animal wasn't just a toy. It was a trigger. Just like Heko's fedora or Kiso's clothes.
Was that why Hisoki told him to put it back?
It seemed Kiki's depressed state was thrown out of the window, instead replaced with an energetic one. He looked towards the Happy Meal. "Is it mine?" Kiki asked curiously. Baker quietly nodded. Kiki squealed, grabbing the Happy Meal and running into the kitchen. Wafi stepped inside right as Kiki ran away. Wafi seemed to want to say something, but didn't.
Unusually, Wafi had a suit on, a backpack hooked on one shoulder. He nodded towards them, placing the bag down. "I am going to guess that the screaming was Kiki?" Wafi voiced amused. Mago smiled, nodding. God it felt like they were a family, all they were missing was Kai, Harley, and Yoshi. "Harley should be here soon, so we should wait for him before anything happens." Wafi commented.
"That was smart, giving him the stuffed animal Baker." Mago complimented, a hint of red rising to Baker's cheeks. "Thank you.." He mumbled. Wafi peeked his head into the kitchen, waving at Kiki. The young boy smiled, running out of his seat to give Wafi a hug. "Wafi!" Kiki yelled happily. Wafi turned to them, confused. Baker and Mago didn't have an answer for him.
How did Kiki know Wafi?
Wafi hugged back, lifting Kiki up slightly, the boy giggling. "Hi Kiki!" Wafi smiled, saying the young boy's name as Kiki did. He lightly lowered Kiki, brushing off his shoulders. "Go eat, ok? I gotta talk to the adults for a minute." Kiki pouted, crossing his arms. "No, I'm an adult! I promise!" Kiki lightly stomped his feet. However Wafi gave the boy a stern look. "Go eat your food. Then you can hang out with us." Wafi told. Kiki looked down to the floor and nodded, waddling into the kitchen. Wafi sighed, turning to look at them.
"Wow, you are an amazing parent. I thought he was going to start a tantrum." Mago commented in shock. Baker nodded. When did Wafi get like that? Baker could never, Kiki was way too cute. Wafi shrugged. "Don't know." Wafi grinned. He went over to the seat facing the tv. "Ohh Spongebob." Baker rolled his eyes. There was the Wafi he knew.
After only a moment of watching the show, Wafi sighed. He reached over to the table, picking up a leather book. "What's this?" Wafi blurted, gaining attention. Baker stood up, walking over to Wafi. "Don't know. Open it." Mago suggested, interested. Baker shook his head hesitantly. "I don't know, maybe we shouldn't."Baker mumbled. But it was already too late.
It was a log, well not exactly. It looked like a text chat, only written on paper. The date, then name, then what they wanted to say. However, instead of instant chatting, each comment was days apart. Even weeks in some instances. "Woah.." Wafi mumbled. They were only on the first page, yet it seemed so much has been filled out in a once empty journal.

Mago had also moved to read the book, both of them crowding around to see. "Who's talking?" Mago asked, crouching slightly. Wafi shrugged, but Baker had an answer. "It's Hisoki." Baker guessed. Wafi skipped at least sixty pages, before stopping on a new one.

Baker suddenly felt someone yank at his hair, pulling him back. He grabbed onto the person's hand, quickly letting go when he felt a cold blade rest on his chest. His eyes widened. He looked over at Wafi and Mago, who were just as shocked as he was. Baker's heart pumped a mile a minute, his eyes becoming blurred. A harsh scoff came from the person behind him. "I fucking knew it." He muttered. It could only be one person.
Sahae.
