Chapter 3 - Ch 3 Living as a person

Alice will never forget the pair of purple eye of that wicked woman, Wonda. During night, she will dream to stab her, choke her and kill her. During daylight, she will work as a literature teacher at Southern High School as her father was very particular about education and sent her to school with his farming income. On evening she will practice swords, and martial art with Will. As Will also have been busy with his duty as a knight, Alice will practice alone and she will go to the library often and borrowed books about martial arts. She has her own journal for martial art lesson, thus, she will go besides the river in Southern Perk to practice alone. For her, the key to success is to focus and keep eye contact with the opponent.

After what happened to her father, she would take everything that she could to protect her mother. As Mrs. Anne is the only person she has left, she is now the shield of the family for her and Mrs. Anne. They both clique well and loved each other very much. The solid bond between Mrs. Anne and Alice made them feel less lonely and sad. They shared stories of daily work life, secrets, but one thing Mrs. Anne never knew about the revenge Alice had planned. She always pray that Alice will start a new life after those tragedies happened. Alice explained to her that she was taking the swords lesson and martial arts just to be active and she loves those tough activities. Mrs. Anne doesn't want to hold back what's her daughter wants. But the only thing was, Mrs. Anne never knew was about the revenge.

Mrs. Anne works as a tailor at Queen's Boutique. Even though, sewing is not her passion, still, Queen's Boutique is the only shop who offered for workers recruitment for women. She must at least have savings for her and Alice. After his husband died, they were robbed two months after and they lose all the money. Through hard times, Mrs. Anne never give up for the sake of her daughter and herself. Words from Jake that keep her strong all the time, "We must keep living, no matter what happened, have faith in yourself, and you can do it!" Those were one of the sweetest things Jake have said. Even the path is hard, Mrs. Anne still put on hope, therefore, she and her daughter will have a better day for the next day.
