Chapter 6 - Beep! Beep!

"Mayumi! Please pass those crabs and shrimps! Please!" As I begged my new Timawa friend, named Mayumi.

"You really have a good appetite my friend, you may have more red rice and ripe mangoes too!" Mayumi replied as she offered more food.

That's the most epic lunch ever! It's been a very long time since I've eaten delicious fresh foods, especially seafood. Since I lived in a city before, I always eat ready to eat or processed foods. Ready to eat fruits, fish, vegetables, meat except seafoods, it's very expensive food in our city. It may cost you up to 600 bucks in just one meal!

Anyways, I also got my new friend, Mayumi, who belongs to a Timawa class. Timawas are the privileged intermediate class of an ancient Visayan society. I was very lucky that Mayumi saw me in the forest a few days ago in spite of my uncertain situation at that time. Because there are slave class! I don't want to be a slave! Duh?

When elders asked Mayumi where I came from, she made up a story that I was an escaped illegitimate daughter of a Tagalog Datu, who just used a boat alone way here to Akean (Which is known as Province of Aklan in my original timeline.) and I can't believe that they bought it. That's my partner in crime Mayumi, good job!

As I walked exploring the surroundings, I saw some people who were painting tattoos on their body. They're the legendary pintados in Philippine history! As I walk slowly towards them, it's a very yummy scenery because most of them are hunk of a man just wearing "bahag" or loincloth. Well, forget about my lewdness! Let's ask why they're doing that.

"Ahh, hi oppa? Why do you paint tattoos?" I asked the tall, dark and handsome pintados.

"Oh, you mean "batok"? I just made my first kill as a warrior, that's why I'm having a "batok" and my name is Alindog not Oppa" He replied.

"Oh, nice to meet you Alindog... Nice batok too!" I replied while curling my hair flirty .

Alindog, hmm... That's a pretty hot name! Oh, my grass! By the way, tattoos are called "batok" by Visayan people.

"How about you? You want batok too? What's your name by the way?" Alindog asked.

"Ahh, ehem! My name is Patricia, give me some batok too please?" I charmingly replied.

After I gave my preferred tattoo design, which is a merkaba, also known as the Star of David and a yin yang logo. Alindog suggested that I take a bath first at the nearest river while preparing the materials needed for my tattoo. I asked Mayumi to accompany me and she agreed.

After Mayumi finished her bath, she went bird hunting for a moment with her bow as her hobby but I just stayed soaking on the river because I'm enjoying it.

"Beep! Beep!" A sound of some sort of a smartphone or gadget just came out of nowhere and suddenly caught my attention. As expected, it came from the tablet gadget that I brought with us. I saw the screen was already on and there is a button with a text that says, "Please tap here to start Cosmic Induction Instant Charging". I didn't understand it at all so I just tapped it then a new window popped up and said, "Congratulations! The Quantum Battery is now fully charged eternally!".

I was so freaking amazed! I didn't know what's really going on! Then another window just appeared and it said, "Please register your DNA by placing your tongue on the screen in order to start using this device."

So I licked the device's screen as instructed, then a window appeared with a text congratulating me for registering my DNA. After that, the desktop screen appeared and I was shocked! It has an internet connection!
