This mission is one of the missions that requires all team of cultists of Altare Cremisi to achieve great result. The High Priest of the Altare Cremisi wishes to let the whole world know their religion.
Recap to the past, Altare Cremisi is established with humans who have abandoned humanity and serve their benefactor the Crimson Demon. They are elite warrior priests who are granted powers to kill all enemies that dare to invade the demon realm.
In other words, the cultists are militarist and not quite fond of solving things through diplomacy. Not until to the present Altare Cremisi lead by the High Priest. Even though the days for the Crimson Demon was over, them and the rest of the cult remained devoted to their god.
Each year of struggle made them wiser and much stronger than before. With many missions they have accomplished, the cult of Altare Cremisi have become well known because of their exploits.
This mission is very much thought of by the High Priest. They think it is time to show the world what they are capable of as a religious group of people. There is a limit of how many cultists the Altare Cremisi can join. Now that there are few folks who took interest to their religion, though evil, have come to visit one of their churches built far from their main church.
The territory which the Altare Cremisi has been guarding for a century has become a neutral zone where it is designated by all kingdoms to be the No Man's Land. None of the missionaries and army has been able to convert the natives to join their civilization. Altare Cremisi let the natives do their own jobs as long as there is interest.
Guanto Di Ferro is one of the first tribe that Altare Cremisi allied with. For 4 months, the Guanto Di Ferro became known as fearsome tribe of dwarves who are very powerful to hunt wild dragons. They owned the mountains and got a lots of funding of money. These money are invested into making weapons and accomodations. Bit by bit, their tribe has developed into one big community for 6 months.
The other allies that the Altare Cremisi has formed with is the Brezza Verde tribe. Though the elven folks find it uneasy to ally with such suspicious individuals who were once spawns from hell, they are quite grateful for all the supports they have received. The forest is well protected from poachers thanks to the meddling Acolytes who occasionally wanders near the tribe since the church is close by them. Brezza Verde are quite formidable when it comes to fighting against invaders. If Altare Cremisi are welcomed by them, the cult have achieved their trust.
1 month after the alliance with Brezza Verde, unexpected happened to the east. There is a large group of orcs traveling past the Luca Deserto. They have been staying vigilant and neutral in the woods, careful not to attack passerbys by accident. At first when team 8 came to investigate, they are quite surprised that the orcs are very calm about their appearance. The orcs have been planning to settle in the territory of the Altare Cremisi. They call themselves Orchi Blu tribe. They use blue paint for their tattoos and they have greater power than the dwarves.
Because the tribe is foreign, the Altare Cremisi asked if they have something to help with. At first the orcs find it bothersome and it wasn't worth it. When humans appeared, they immedietely fight the orcs thinking that they are scouts from the demon realm. The Soldier of team 8 excitedly jumped in to action and knocked all the human attackers with their insane amount of force.
The Orchi Blu tribe are quite surprised and didn't appreciate the help. They rather be free on their own than to serve anyone. The team 8 gets angry and decides to attack the trespassing orcs. The orcs are armed in battle with their signature battle-axes. The Soldier laughs maniacally as they knock out the orc warriors one by one. The Assassin swooped in and bashes the orc archers with a piece of driftwood. Scout eventually throws sleeping smoke bombs that incapacitate all beings that smell it.
The Hunter and the Spy watch the spectacle happening with fine wine at hand. The orcs felt humiliated and weak. They clearly outnumber the 3 men in red cloaks but they still cannot beat them. The Spy came down and propose a proposal that may benefit for the both parties. If the Orchi Blu tribe wanted to live in peace with the inhabitants of the territory, they must sign a contract.
The contract is about their rights of the land and rules of the Altare Cremisi. The rules goes like this:
• Your tribe shall become one of allies of the Altare Cremisi.
• You will be given a land to develop. Develop your community and become the guardians of that area.
• If you begin to threaten the other tribes or the Altare Cremisi, heavy punishments will befall to your people.
• Report with the ambassadors for any request you may have. The Altare Cremisi will provide support.
The contract is very odd but surprisingly it is written in orc language. It certainly will benefit the orcs but what is that will benefit for the Altare Cremisi?
For the most part, that area didn't actually owned by the Altare Cremisi. It is a deception that creates the illusion of authority. Added to the fact that team 8 showed how powerful they are, the orcs of Orchi Blu tribe think that they are given a land for them in exchange of trust. They have pledge alliance with the cult and begin to develop their settlement the next day.
It took 5 months until the Orchi Blu tribe have improved their lifestyle and built a town. The Altare Cremisi introduced the new friends with the Guanto Di Ferro and Brezza Verde. The dwarves are very impressed by how the orcs' unusual culture, while the elves are quite cautious to their race because of knowledge that orcs are savages and brutes that pillages small community without mercy. The High Priest promised that the Orchi Blu will not cause any trouble and will help in times of need.
The Northeast is covered by the Guanto Di Ferro tribe. The South is covered by the Brezza Verde tribe. The East is covered by the Orchi Blu tribe. There are still quite more areas that must be controlled so the mission is still ongoing.
1 year have passed and the emperor from Impero del Sore take notice of the events of the rumored No Man's Land. Reports of dwarves, elves, and orcs have banded together, which is unusual. The King have sent people to investigate what the causes of this sudden change. To their surprise, other races like humans and demons are seen to be working together in No Man's Land.
At first the conclusion is that the demons have brainwashed the inhabitants and enslaved them. That conclusion is debunked when they notice strange individuals in red cloaks walking in plain sight. They much looked like normal humans. There is also the fact that the center of the No Man's Land is restricted for outsiders. The only information they got is that area is very dangerous.
5 year later, the towns in No Man's Land became cities. 5 more years it upgraded into kingdom. This much improvement happened when the Altare Cremisi begins to take in charge. The original 60 cult members of Altare Cremisi were tasked to write books about their life and what they have learned. Those knowledge were passed to the younger generations, which they may use for the future.
Like promised, the Altare Cremisi protected the tribes from invading outsiders and also preserve their heritage. The High Priest gives advice to the leader of the tribes of how to improve their community. Though the past Altare Cremisi wasn't suppose to care for other people because they sold their soul to the demon, every year that passed after the Crimson Demon died, the Altare Cremisi cult members have their humanity slowly returning to them.
They still have to do the dirty work in order to achieve the "best results". Deaths may no longer fazes them, but each day they made connections with other people, they begin to have desire. Each of the cult members have individual desires of their own. And some of them already achieved it.
2 years have passed, the leaders of each tribe visited the High Priest to request a favor. They wanted to create a new country where everyone lives in peace with each other. It surprises the cult members as they did not anticipate this turn of event. It turns out that the tribes have been interacting with each other from these past years and have gotten known with each other. They also helped each other like how the cult helped them.
The High Priest's expression changed and looks at the leaders' eyes intensely. The pressure of the room of the High Priest lingers with death and malice. The leaders' are quite terrified. The High Priest asked if they are very serious of creating a new country. The leaders looked at one another with anxious eyes, trying to think what they should do. The Dwarf King is quite excited and insists of the plan to create a new country.
The Orc Chief is happy to hear that answer, and said that they agree of the plan. The Demon Leader and the Human Leader are also in agreement of it. Being left out, the Elf Minister is forced to agree to create the new country. The room turned dark and the High Priest begins to glow in red.
At first, the High Priest giggles. It scared the leaders thinking that something horrible is gonna happen. But the High Priest suddenly begins to tell a story. The story about Altare Cremisi. In their version of the story, they have been serving with the Crimson Demon who orders them to remove the obstacles off the path. They have killed numerous leaders that caused despair within kingdoms. They are also the cause of the extinction of Pegaso, a mythical horse that were guardians of the Regno Mortale. Clearly the people who once tried to destroy the world of the living.
The story goes on of many deeds they have done and did not regret, as their goal when they joined the Crimson Demon is revenge who wronged them in the first place. Their thoughts of the Crimson Demon is very high, like how people respect god. They still upheld the Crimson Demon's vision up to this day. That is revenge who threatens their lives.
The purpose for this alliance is for having the inhabitants of the No Man's Land defend their safe haven. Having to create a new country is a very big burden for the cult. Because killing has become one of their daily lifestyle. If not careful, the whole alliance will be treated as livestocks. The High Priest gave them a bible of their religion to read and have them reconsider the choice of creating a new country.
The leaders left in disappointed with the bible on hand. The High Priest is very stressed of the scene that happened. All this time they have been thinking about themselves. And when the leaders mention about their request, it struck the Priest's corrupted heart. They are in deep thought in that day.
The leaders study the bible they had been given with. They cannot understand it no matter how hard they research it. They have seen the word "conquest" and "for the better" many times in the bible. Conquest may mean about the demon invasion many centuries ago where the great war between demons and humans happened.
They have concluded that this Crimson Demon is a general of an army belonging to a Demon King from the past. The Demon tribe acknowledge about how ferocious and brave the Crimson Demon was. They are the same race after all. This bible they got is basically a documentary. The Elf Minister thinks that they should tell this to everyone but the Orc Chief doesn't agree.
The Orc Chief trust the Altare Cremisi because they gave them home. The Dwarf King agrees because they earned fame and glory. The Elf Minister sighed at the fact that they doubted someone who have a dark past who helped them from the past years. They have heard from one elf tribe called the Palissandro tribe accidentally killing their benefactor who wears the same color as Altare Cremisi, despite saving them from the dangers of the monster month.
Someone who have earned dishonor makes the Elf Minister nervous. They know they didn't do it, but the fact that the elf race is one of the people who betrayed the Altare Cremisi created a scary thought. They have seen how merciless the Altare Cremisi fights and how bloodthirsty they are. They are better at using magic than the elves.
The Elf Minister wants to protect their people from harm. They eventually think that they have no choice but to understand the High Priest's intentions. The Human Leader is quite confused of what is happening right now. They recently agreed to join alliance last year and have gained many resources that will help their tribe prosper. At first they thought that the Altare Cremisi are sent by the gods.
They never knew they worked with demons who were told to be the one who terrorize the lands. And the Altare Cremisi cult contributed by that fact. They are quite wary with the demons ever since they first interact with each other along with the other races. Recently they have been contact with the people from Impero del Sore to investigate this matter. Big rewards is promised if they have the information. They got the information they need, in a form of a book.
But seeing how the other leaders are currying favor with the High Priest of Altare Cremisi, they fear that they entered that is dangerous with no way to go back. One wrong move and they may be executed by the cult who are expert in killing discreetly. The Human Leader decided to hide this fact instead of getting the promised rewards. They value their life more than the riches.
One day later, the leaders came back to the Altare Cremisi Church. They are shocked to see dead people hanging from poles with their heart gouged out and their tongue slit off. The Human Leader recognized those people. The cult may have been looking for rats who are spying in their territory. In other words, the Human Leader fortunately chose the correct idea of not to get in contact with the people they were suppose to meet.
Entering the Altare Cremisi Church, the interior is quite grim. The red window panes lights the church in red color. The Acolytes are in the prayer room, sitting on benches in order to pay respect to the Crimson Demon, instead of praying for themselves. The bone decorations were expertly crafted and it does give the impression of an evil cult. The Spy from team 7 escorted the leaders to the High Priest's room.
The High Priest is enjoying themselves by feeling the wind breeze that enters their room. They see that the allied leaders are ready to give answers to the question regarding to the creation of a new country. They insisted and they want the High Priest to become its king. The High Priest felt offended and slam their desk. The leaders are shocked.
"You do know that me and my brothers and sisters are born from the flesh pits of hell. We only exist to serve. You are telling me to lead a kingdom that is lead by a spawn of a demon. Don't dare to take advantage of our kindness. We do not want trouble don't we?" said the High Priest as they put their hand in front of their face.
The Orc Chief apologized for being bothersome. The Elf Minister is quite upset. They think that the High Priest thinks highly of themselves. They never wanted help in the first place. But disregarding the Altare Cremisi's contribution to prosperity of the Brezza Verde means that they are not honoring their alliance deal.
Such an easy deal is very complicated when it comes to politics. The High Priest realized about this discontented. They requested the leaders if they wanna create a new country, a new ideology should be created for all races that lives in No Man's Land. Fascimo ideology doesn't quite match with how the leaders lead their people now that they have been helping each other. The Altare Cremisi have been letting the leaders do what they want, and have been responsible of the affairs of each tribes.
It's a hard mission to accomplish. To create an ideology that will benefit for all parties. Its not like having multiple kings is better than having a single king. The Soldier of team 6 enters the High Priest's room to give their report. It is about their accomplishment of engaging dark druids that are poisoning the land. The Elf Minister is quite pleased to hear that the Altare Cremisi cares for mother nature.
They talked with the other leaders and comes up with an proposal. They think of using "democrazia" based from other countries from other continents. The High Priest approves of the idea. Together, they have creating laws and orders based on the given topic. It took them 2 years of planning and 10 years of implementation.
After democrazia has created, the new country is also created, with all races living together in peace, with Altare Cremisi supervising as the courtiers. All races have acknowledge of living together in peace. Even new type of races have been born. Such as Half-Elves, Dwaroc, and Demi-humans.
The king is from the Elf tribe while the queen is from the Human tribe. They were chosen as candidates because the elves know the lands better than the other races, excluding the Altare Cremisi. And also for the fact that the Elf king has fallen in love with a human.
The neighboring countries are quite angry about the news of the new country in the land they couldn't claim. Even the audacity that every races are living together.
The name for this new country is chosen by the Altare Cremisi High Priest. As their dream is to kill their mistress that betrayed them under the sunset by the sea by the cliff.
