The funeral and Jayden's coronation took up Edith's time. The girl had always been by the King's side for three days because Jayden didn't want to let her go even for a second. Jayden was afraid that the girl would run away from him.
Edith had to finish the spell books Xavier had given her. Two more magic books, green and red magic. Also, one more book, a book about monsters. Edith was the next supreme mage candidate, so she must learn high-level magic to keep up with Xavier.
"Edith!!" Miguel entered with a happy face into Edith's room. He could avoid Jayden's eyes that kept on staring at him either.
"Uncle, why aren't you with Jayden?" Edith smiled at Miguel.
"The king asked me to leave. He wanted to talk to Evander alone." Miguel glanced at the green magic book in Edith's hand. "Time magic?? You're going to learn it?" Miguel asked, interested in the green-bound book clutch in Edith's hand.
