Edith gulped in terror. How could she tell Jayden she was afraid of him. Only Edith thought that Jayden was a werewolf. Only Edith realized that there was something strange about this man. And if Jayden indeed was a werewolf, what was he looking for from Edith?? What was his purpose in making Edith his wife??
"But I wanted to touch you, Wife." Jayden touched Edith's chin, making Edith tremble in fear.
"Why are you so scared of me, Wife? Are you afraid I'll bite you?" Jayden smiled, his hand gently stroking through the hair toward Edith's nape.
Edith could feel Jayden's warm hands on the nape of her neck. Edith looked into Jayden's beautiful eyes. Those golden eyes fascinated her. Although fear surrounded her heart, the charm of the two eyeballs was much more difficult to resist.
