It was a freezing night. The mist fell heavily among the cypress trees. Following Jayden's plan, he asked Xavier to help hunt down the werewolves tonight. Jayden and the wizards decided to leave the village and head to the last town where the wolves were seen. The grown men took arms, walking in the previous row after the royal soldiers.
I waved at a little girl I met before entering the village hall. The girl was standing behind the wooden pillar of her house. She kept shaking her head as if signaling me not to go there. Don't follow them all. But I didn't understand her code and followed Xavier anyway.
Asa, the black wizard, made a seal with his hands chanting a magic spell. He lit the way to the other side of the village.
